„Unbelievable back drops and views from the property. Fantastic staff and food and excellent walking in the surrounding areas. Cannot recommend enough this little gem of a place. In summer the garden must be stunning. We will definitely return.“

„Clean, comfortable rooms but quite cosy. The pub is on the busy A65, so it can be quite noisy, even at the back. Very little choice for vegetarians/vegans, especially if you don't like fake meat. Although the kitchen did agree to do the mushroom salad which is normally only on the lunchtime menu for dinner, which was nice. Some fruit at breakfast would have been nice, but there was tasty bread. “
