Perfect location

Literally steps from the Civil Rights Museum, in the wonderful South Main Arts District, and walking distance to Beale Street. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The hosts were accommodating and friendly.

Weekend in Memphis

We came to Memphis for a family event. The Cottage was close to the event and close to everything we needed. We did not rent a car and most of what we did was within walking distance. The place is cute, comfy, and in a great location. The address does not match the entrance from the street on the back side of the property. Basically it is across from the Civil Rights museum parking lot. If you are staying in downtown Memphis, This is a great place to stay.

Great Place, Great Location

My husband and I were staying in Memphis for a concert and this place was perfect. Great size for two and located within walking distance of downtown and Beale St. The host was very kind and everything we needed was provided. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Location!

This was a perfect location right in the middleof downtown Memphis just steps from the National Civil Rights Museum, excellent food, and sites. As the description pointed out, it is a cottage, so it worked well for our family with two small children; however, it would be most ideal as a couple’s getaway. The host was great and met us when we arrived as the location is a guest house. Amenities were also very nice. While we didn’t stay long, the cottage would have been comfortable enough without the kids to have stayed for an extended period with access to a kitchen, living area, outdoor space, and laundry on site.

What a great spot!!

This apartment had everything we could need. Walking distance to everywhere, including a very nice grocery store. Rhonda was super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We made the most of our time in Memphis despite sharing it with Tropical Cyclone Francine. Hoping to return here some day!

Our time in Memphis was amazing and the space was clean and nice. Rhonda was a wonderful host and available for questions and recommendations to restaurants nearby. The location was perfect, short walk to Beale Street for the best BBQ ribs and fun little bars right the corner.

Engagement Weekend

I am originally from Kansas City but Memphis is my second home. When it was time to bring my fiance to Memphis so he could finally meet long time friends and see some of my favorite places I needed a perfect place for us to stay - and The Cottage was the answer. Located near everything downtown but still tucked away for some privacy and downtime. We were able to site see, bop around town, and still get ready for two separate events with ease due to the convenience of parking and quick access to the house. Thank you again for a great stay!

A Lovely Cottage Oasis in Bustling Memphis

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished it was longer. Our hosts couldn’t be nicer and more accommodating towards us. We were hours late due to eclipse traffic and they didn’t hesitate to wait on us for a late check-in. The cottage was outfitted with all we needed and then some. The location was so convenient to all that we wanted to see and do; we even enjoyed more attractions than planned, because of the close proximity.
