All hotels so far have been great, but Park Hyatt Mendoza really stands out!
Over the years I have been spoiled when it comes to hotels. The hotels I have come across in Thailand in particular are truly sublime.
It is not just about the hotel itself, but the service that comes with it. Everything is arranged and done for you. Pure indulgence. I never have breakfast at home, but sometimes I do on vacation. And then it is nice to have something to choose from.
The Park Hyatt Mendoza has a rich history that goes back to the beginning of the 20th century. You can see and feel that when you enter. The hotel is located in a historic building that was originally built in 1902 as a casino, the Palacio Sol.
Over the years, the building was renovated and remodeled, and in 2001 it reopened as the Park Hyatt Mendoza. It still combines the charm and grandeur of the original architectural design with modern amenities and comfort. Located in the heart of the city, the hotel offers stunning views of the Andes.
From the moment you arrive, you feel welcome: your suitcases are taken from the taxi and neatly brought to your room. The rooms are spacious, the beds sleep wonderfully and the bathroom is truly exquisite. The breakfast is extensive, especially by Argentine standards. I was finally able to order an omelette, poched benedict or fried egg! The staff are super friendly and make sure you have everything you need!
