„Beautiful cottage, but major safety and maintenance issuesWhile the interior of this cottage is lovely, our experience was unfortunately defined by significant safety concerns and poor maintenance.The primary issue is the driveway/hill. Despite driving a Toyota RAV4 Woodland Edition with trail tires, the hill was completely impassable due to ice. We slid down several times—even after a plow had passed—and nearly ended up in a ditch. „The Marx is about a 10 minute drive to All Star Village, which made it a convenient place to stay while my son stayed there. There are restaurants and a grocery store nearby. The hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. The wallpaper and carpet needed replaced. It smells musty and the bathroom needs gutted. The treadmill in the gym was very old and there were only three pieces of equipment to use. The staff was friendly and quickly fixed the refrigerator that wasn't working in my room.“

The guest manual with lots of helpful information, restaurant, and activity recommendations was appreciated. The snack basket and coffee options available when we arrived made us feel even more welcome. This was a great home away from home for our get away. “
