The house was nice, clean, well-stocked kitchen, they don’t supply bath towels or have bath mats in the bathrooms so we had to buy them but she told us a day before hand, having more notice would have been nice. There is a decent Family Dollar about 6 miles up the road so it wasn’t too much of a hassle to get supplies.
The washer and dryer were nice, old, but nice and did the job. She provided lots of detergent and dryer sheets.
The parking was good, plenty of space for multiple cars. The deck was a bit hazardous and our dog could easily get onto the roof so we didn’t go up there much. The second lower deck was nice though. I appreciated the fully beach stocked shed that had chairs, a beach tent, and corn hole.
We did appreciate the house being dog-friendly, she had a courtesy dog eating/drinking station, poop bags, and dog biscuits of assorted flavors (with the ingredient list included in case of any allergies).
The house was clean despite a miscommunication between owner and cleaning service on the dates of stay. We arrived 45 minutes after the 4:00 PM check-in only to have to wait until 6:30 PM to get into the house. The cleaner was apologetic and thorough in her work. Yesenia provided a courtesy late check-out as apology but our plans had us leaving by the 11:00a check-out so I guess it’s the thought that counts?
The path to the beach could be cleared out more, big cactus in the way making it a hazard for dogs/kids. Lots of dead horseshoe crabs on beach.
