Dieses gemütliche Cottage in Slaughter Beach freut sich darauf, den schönen Strand mit neuen Besuchern zu teilen. Die Unterkunft befindet sich direkt gegenüber dem Zugang zum öffentlichen Strand, sodass Ihre Füße nie müde werden, zum Strand zu laufen. Das Cottage verfügt über WLAN und Kabel-TV. Es ist jedoch manchmal genauso entspannend, auf der abgeschirmten Terrasse zu faulenzen oder ein Buch zu lesen. Das Ferienhaus befindet sich auf zwei Parzellen mit herrlichem Blick auf das Naturschutzgebiet, sodass Sie neben Ihrer Privatsphäre auch viel Platz für Spaß im Freien, Hasen- oder Vogelbeobachtungen haben. Es gibt eine geräumige Terrasse für Abendessen bei Sonnenuntergang. Zu den jüngsten Renovierungsarbeiten gehören alle neuen Fußböden und Deckenventilatoren sowie ein durchlaufender Warmwasserbereiter, eine Klimaanlage, eine brandneue Waschmaschine und ein Trockner und eine Außendusche für zusätzlichen Komfort. Das tankless Heißwassersystem ermöglicht endlose Mengen an heißem Wasser für alle Gäste!


Das Haus ist voll möbliert und vor kurzem renoviert. Sie finden alles, was Sie brauchen, wenn Sie während Ihres Aufenthalts kochen möchten. Es gibt einen Gasherd und Backofen, Geschirrspüler und Kaffeemaschine. Es gibt sogar einen Grill draußen für Ihre Bequemlichkeit.

Wir bieten unseren Gästen die Möglichkeit, unsere Bettwäsche ohne zusätzliche Gebühr zu nutzen. Allerdings müssen Strandtücher, Liegestühle und Kühlschränke im Freien von den Gästen bereitgestellt werden.

Während Ihres Aufenthalts sollten Sie erwarten, Pfeilschwanzkrebse, zahlreiche Vögel und wild lebende Tiere zu sehen. In der Bucht von Slaughter Beach können Sie entspannt im Wasser spielen. Die Wellen sind klein und die Flut ist bemerkenswert. Bei Flut können Sie Boote segeln, Runden schwimmen, direkt am Strand angeln und stundenlang Kajak fahren. Bei Ebbe wartet jedoch ein offener Meeresboden darauf, entdeckt zu werden. Machen Sie einen Spaziergang in der Bucht und entdecken Sie, was darunter liegt.

Slaughter Beach liegt nördlich von Rehobeth Beach und Lewes, Delaware. Die Tanger Outlets sind in unmittelbarer Nähe und bieten ca. 130 Markengeschäfte entlang der 5 km langen Route 1. In der Nähe der Tanger Outlets finden Sie den Midway Speedway Park, eine aufregende Familienattraktion. Es verfügt über 5 Go-Kart-Bahnen für alle Spielstärken sowie 18 Löcher Minigolf.

Cozy, clean & bright
We were looking for a quiet place to relax and we found it here. The house was very cozy with well-equipped kitchen. The beach was just across the road for sunrise viewing and long walks. The sunset from the back porch was beautiful. We saw the neighborhood fox a couple of times. All this and it’s just a short drive to Milford's store’s & restaurants.

My family and I loved this property! It was 100 steps to a beautiful, quiet, beach! The house was clean! We liked having 3 bedrooms! The entire family enjoyed the outdoor shower! Would definitely recommend!

Spoiled vacation
Getting to the tranquil cottage was “interesting”, it’s on a natural reserve, with a beach full of dead horse crabs, and blood sucking flies as well as mosquitos. My wife was bitten and bloody, and had an allergic reaction. Being with a baby, we realized this was a bad idea. We didn’t feel secure in the house, windows exiting the bathroom had no curtains, the house was not cleaned, the floors were full of sand, black long human hairs and short white animal hairs were found. Our 1 year old granddaughter found different snacks by the books and in the couches, such as a peanut chewy nut bar and pretzel crackers. The pack and play was dusty and stained so we did not use it. The furniture was very old, the beds were spring beds and the beds shook constantly, with old blankets that had holes in them. There were no outside lights either and it was creepy to be outside after 9pm. The WiFi only works in the main area, not in the bedrooms and the AC is in the main room, therefore you have to sleep with the doors open, or the fan on in your room. The location and home reminded me of a scary movie. There was a very strict list of everything that needs to be done upon departing the location, such as vacuuming, and taking off bed sheets. We cleaned up after the people that stayed there and had to clean up after ourselves. If we knew the truth about the cottage we would Have never ever stayed here. All the good beaches are 30-40 minutes away from the cottage.

Beautiful Beach Cottage
We had a wonderful trip. The cottage and surrounding area was just as pictured. The place was clean, well stocked, and offered plenty of space, huge bonus for having sheets and towels so we didn't have to pack them. We were thrilled to be able to bring our two elderly dogs. The beach was clean and beautiful, buggy bear the cottage but that was expected.

Perfect getaway
We absolutely loved staying in this perfect little cottage, literally right across from beach access. The location was perfect, and my son also loved the playground right down the street. The outside shower was an added bonus for sandy, wet feet and for our dog who loves swimming. We wanted quiet, safe and dog friendly and that's exactly what we got🙂

We stayed here while my son had a lacrosse tournament in Frederica. This place is in a great location and the cottage was very clean and sneakily spacious. The location is very nice and close to the beach. We would love to stay here again!

Great Property, Great Location
We stayed here while visiting my family for Christmas, so we were only in the beach house to sleep. The property was spotless and spacious, and I always appreciate contactless check-ins. My family of 5, including 3 young adult children, had ample space to spread out. The location is perfect. Although it was December, we walked the beach each morning. It is literally across the street. The National Wildlife Refuge is less than a mile away. I saw snow geese in the pond there on my run. The host was very responsive. We had trouble with the wifi on Christmas Eve, and she had it fixed immediately. Thanks for a wonderful stay and wonderful memories.

Fantastic
If you are looking around for a place to stay near the beach, stop and book this. The house is adorable - cuter than the pictures even show. The house was very clean. We brought meals to cook and they had every imaginable cooking pan, dish and cooking utensil. We played cards at the round table in the kitchen, walked across the street to the beach and had the most relaxing time. The home owner was very responsive and helpful. We can't wait to come back!

Great Cottage
We loved staying in this cozy cottage. The house was clean and we liked that there was room to put our stuff (wall hooks, cabinets, tables). It is in a nice quiet neighborhood right across the street from the beach. The dog loved walking on the beach every morning and playing ball in the backyard. The location is great, we went all the way up to Dover and all the way down to Fenwick Island. My favorite stops were Lewes (Lightship Overfalls, Cape Henlopen State Park, Crooked Hammock Brewery) and Milton (Lavender Fields at Warrington Manor).

This was our first trip to DE and we were pleased with the rental. It was located across from one of the public access beaches. Very quiet location and comfortable cottage- had everything we needed. Outdoor shower was great with afternoon sun. There was only 2 of us and 2 dogs but plenty of space for more!
