„Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. One of my favorite towns in NC. “

„Overall, we had a great trip. There was nothing that lessened the enjoyment we had together as a family. However, there were a few things that may be normal in a mountain log cabin, but perhaps could be upgraded. There were a lot of stairs into the house and guest house and only one bedroom on the main floor of main house so seniors had a harder time of it. Cleaning was hit and miss. „We loved the breath taking panoramic views of the mountains! The kitchen was well equipped for all our cooking needs. The house was a great size with plenty of outdoor space with seating. The beds were comfortable. The host was helpful with things to do in the area and responded quickly about inquiries. Beautiful area to take our morning walks.“
