„The cabin was very charming and comfortable. Our teenage sons really liked the theatre area and made it their permanent camp for the week. The proximity to the river is a big plus. We spent several mornings having coffee on the deck and just watching the river go by. Our host was very nice and responsive to questions. „My husband and I decided to get away for the New Year holiday to just relax and explore with our two labs. The house was the perfect size for us. The fenced in yard was a huge help with the dogs. The town of Blue Ridge was a very easy drive and had great restaurants and shops to explore. Hiking close by as well and fishing right off of the deck. The house had sufficient cooking supplies. „My wife and I spent 10 days in this cabin and I would highly recommend it. The cabin is a newer construction (less than 10 years old). The drive up was very easy compared some of the cabins we have stayed at in the past with steep inclines/ declines and hairpin turns. None of those on this drive up. „Our family travels all over normally staying in VRBO homes. This was probably the nicest and well thought out cabins we have stayed in the mountains yet. It was too cold unfortunately for us to really take advantage of the inside outside space it offers but it was spectacular either way!“
