Das Duplex wurde 1925 erbaut und bewahrt sein ursprüngliches Art-Deco-Flair. Das dunkle Holz, die Türbeschläge, die Fenster an der Nord- und Südseite, die Wendeltreppe und der Parkettboden im ganzen Haus sind einladend und warm. Die Fenster an drei Seiten des Wohnzimmers bieten einen tollen "Baumhaus" -Blick auf die schönen Häuser in unserer ruhigen Straße und sind ein großartiger Ort, um sich zu entspannen oder in der Nachmittagssonne zu arbeiten. Das Deck des zweiten Schlafzimmers zum Hinterhof ist der perfekte Ort, um einen Sommerabend zu verbringen.

Es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer. Schlafzimmer Nr. 1 enthält ein Queen-Size-Bett und Deckenventilator. Schlafzimmer Nr. 2 hat zwei Einzelbetten. Beide Räume haben Kommoden und Stauraum.

Das geräumige Wohnzimmer bietet viele bequeme Sitzgelegenheiten, Flachbildfernseher, DVD-Player und Netflix-Zugang. Es gibt auch eine Vielzahl von Spielen und Büchern für die Gäste.

Die voll ausgestattete Küche ist sauber, modern und bietet Artikel zum Kochen von Mahlzeiten. Es verfügt über einen großen Kühlschrank, Backofen, Gasherd, Mikrowelle und Geschirrspüler.

Das Badezimmer hat eine für die Epoche typische Größe und verfügt über eine tiefe Badewanne mit Dusche.

Der Speisesaal verfügt über ein klassisches Tellerregal und zwei große Fenster nach Westen, die das Nachmittagslicht hereinlassen. Der große Esstisch bietet Platz für sechs Personen.

Great property for our weekend stay.
We were in town to do a college visit at the University of Minnesota. The property was an easy ten minute drive to the U and conveniently located off of I-94, which is why we picked this rental. Check-in was easy with abundant street parking available. The rental was very clean and looked even better in person than it does in the pictures. The two bedroom set-up was perfect for my husband and I and our two children for our two-night stay. It's located in a very quiet, residential area that felt very safe to us. The only downside is that we didn't really find any restaurants within walking distance of the unit. But other than that we really loved this rental and would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. One thing that I would mention is that although the unit sleeps 4 people and is advertised as such, there is an additional $15 charge per night for the third and fourth guests. Not a dealbreaker for us, but just something to keep in mind if you decide to reserve this property.

Pleased with location of this property relative to U of M campus (pool). Home small but worked great for 2 adults and 2 kids. Older home so some squeaks with the floors. Steps to enter and get to 2nd floor were a surprise, but manageable. Would be hard for someone with bad knees, elderly, etc. Would stay again.

The property was perfect. I enjoyed staying in this home. It reminded me of an Aunt's home in Minneapolis. It was clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything I needed (including a tea pot). The bedding smelled great and the bed was comfortable. It was a perfect location between Brooklyn Center and Inver Grove Heights where I was driving between every day. My son and I spent part of one day enjoying recommendations close by the home as well. I would highly recommend.

We loved the overall ambiance of the place. All of the windows made the light fantastic. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. It was within walking distance of many places. We loved staying in this vintage upstairs duplex. It has a tree-house feel and overlooks a beautiful street in the historic Prospect Park neighborhood. Short family vacation in Minneapolis
The unit was perfect for a family with two parents in one bedroom (queen bed) and two teens in another (twin beds). The kitchen was well stocked, the bathroom shower was warm and pleasant, and the living room and dining room had beautiful views. We appreciated the stacks of interesting books throughout the unit. The Prospect Park location was beautiful and accessible; everything we wanted to see was just a ten-minute drive away. Check-in and -out was simple and efficient. Really, it was all wonderful for a few days of getaway without being in a hotel.

Lovely wood floors and many windows
We had a great time staying at this charming apartment, with beautiful wood floors and 12-paned windows that brought in the light from outside. We arrived on the record heat day of 88 in April, and the owners were very responsive and quickly installed wall units that usually go up in May. The apartment was quite comfortable, with personal touches that made us feel very much at home. Thanks for having us.

If you are going to be in Minneapolis, stay here
This property was everything they described and more. My husband and I stayed for two weeks in January. I was in school all day, and my husband worked from the dining room table. I can't imagine a sweeter home-away-from-home. The kitchen was well equipped for real cooking. The master bedroom was comfortable - no trouble sleeping at all. The bathroom was what you could reasonably expect from an older property, but perfectly functional. The shower was great, loads better than what you find in many a hotel. The owners attend to every little detail, there were plenty of towels, everything was clearly marked, and they even provided trays for our snowy hiking boots. Best of all, in the middle of January, with all of those lovely windows, this little gem was cozy and warm. Even with all the snow the street parking was easy. The owners were lovely and gracious. Thanks to them for a lovely stay!

Worked for our needs
The property was very well maintained and clean. Everything suited our needs with no complaints on that end. I think the one thing that I would say that another reviewer mentioned as well is that the floors creak...a lot. I mean you can't take one step without creaking, so if you have light sleepers, be aware. Otherwise, we have. a great stay and it was in a nice quiet neighborhood.

Prospect Park Bonanza
The location of this property for our stay was simply perfect. It had us within walking distance to every venue that we needed to be at for our wedding. We had a family wedding. The church was a 10 minute walk away, the reception venue was 10 minutes away as well, and a decent breakfast place (Egg and I) was only 10 minutes away. Just perfect for our needs. The apartment was very clean and functional. Just great!

Close proximity to lite rail and u of MN. Quite neighborhood. Off street parking was easy. Upper level of a Duplex. Tenant in lower unit banged on the ceiling one morning. Not sure why. We were 2 old men staying there and were sleeping at the time. Odd.
