„Very clean and comfortable house surrounded by the forest. Kitchen is fully equipped. The dirt path towards the house needs work otherwise your car could get stuck. definitely need a 4 wheeler vehicle. We saw monkeys and toucans in the morning. Very calm and quiet stay it was. „The hostel is small, cosy, clean and very nice. My room was nice and had a TV, the bed was comfortable. I shared the bathroom with two other people. The shower was big and had warm water. The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. They organized several tours for our group. The breakfast was good. There was free tea and coffee in the coming area. „If you value privacy and respect this is NOT the place for you. The Good: our family thoroughly enjoyed the Arenal area. Los Lagos was great for kids and adults. Hot springs,water slides and lunch, all for 100 bucks US. It’s a must visit. The area is gorgeous, if you have an extra couple of days it’s a great way to end your trip before flying home.The bad: This is ALL true.
