Welcome to the East Mo Bungalow: Close to Downtown, Kettlehouse Amp, U of M, Clark Fork River!
Just like a hotel stay: our guests have zero chores, cleaning, or laundry required upon leaving! Nestled in Hellgate Canyon between Mount Jumbo and Mount Sentinel on the banks of the Clark Fork River, East Missoula (or "East Mo" as the locals call it) is the perfect spot for quick access to the best Missoula has to offer. The East Mo Bungalow is just a 5-minute drive to Downtown or the Kettlehouse Brewery & Amphitheater in Bonner; a quick walk to the Sha-Ron Fishing Access & East Mo Beach on the Clark Fork River for floating/fishing/relaxing/sight-seeing; a stone's throw to the North Loop Kim Williams Trail, Canyon River Golf Course, or Milltown State Park; and right upstream from the University of Montana to catch a Griz home game. The property offers spectacular views of sunrises over Mount Sentinel as the morning fog burns off the mountains, and breathtaking evenings as the sun falls behind Mount Jumbo.

About the Bungalow:
The living space offers 1,142 square feet, tons of natural light, and 9-foot ceilings in this daylight basement of a new home constructed in 2021. All new and freshly furnished in June 2022. The house is located on a private street with just us and one other home, so it's great for kids to play outside or adults to enjoy some quiet space. (The neighbors are very quiet.) The layout features an open-concept kitchen and living room, 2 bedrooms with new pillow-top mattresses (1 king and 1 queen), 1 bathroom with a big soaking tub/shower, and your own private clothes washer and dryer. Bedroom 1 has a king-sized cooling technology pillow-top mattress, a large closet and dresser, great natural light, nightstands, and bedside lamps with USB plug-ins. Bedroom 2 has a queen-sized pillow-top mattress, closet and dresser, nightstands, bedside lamps with USB plug-ins, and two large windows for great natural light. A new queen sofa sleeper in the living room brings the total bed count to 3 beds, or 6 people. A pack & play with bassinet and changing table insert is available for your little one. Central AC and heat keep the space comfortable year-round. To accommodate sleepers of different temperature comfort levels; there is an electric fireplace with thermostat in the main living / dining / kitchen, and electric heaters in each bedroom to get each space just the right temperature. The full kitchen has everything you need to get cooking; new stainless appliances, pots & pans, dishes, cups/glasses, cooking utensils, and silverware. The bungalow is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between every guest booking by a local professional cleaning company.

The Amenities You Expect
The Bungalow has ultra-high-speed and hard-wired to the home internet, with an advanced modem and router system professionally installed. This Wi-Fi is FAST. You can stream in HD, work, Zoom/Teams, Pandora, Spotify, download, and have no limits. Bedrooms are individually temperature-controlled for guest-specific comfort. The bungalow stays nice and cool all summer long; don't be surprised if you have to open a window to let the warm summer breeze in. Electronic keypads provide quick and secure access. Parking areas and outdoor spaces are monitored by 24/7 security cameras and motion-sensor lighting: ensuring your vehicle and anything in the back yard is safe and secure for your stay.

Outside Space & Access:
Access to the bungalow is through a secure side/rear entrance, accessible through the fence between the house and garage. Entry in the evening is fully lit with motion-sensor lights that activate on the driveway, walkway, and entry deck area. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet, and parking spaces are monitored 24/7 with security cameras for peace of mind. Outside you will find a shared backyard with a luscious lawn; a covered deck, patio, and seating; a propane grill; a propane firepit; warm vintage/Edison lighting for relaxing in the evening. The exterior door has a keyless, contactless, coded entry, which opens to the shared breezeway. Down the stairs you will find the laundry room, and another keyless coded door that enters the unit.

We are local Missoula owners, proud University of Montana alumni, and live on the upper level of the bungalow. We offer exceptional rates for stays of 1 month or longer, that are competitive to fully-furnished rental rates for the area. Varying by month, we have previously hosted guests for multiple-month stays at a fraction of the typical nightly rates posted on this site. We have hosted traveling nurses and medical personnel, contractors working in the area, families needing housing while house-hunting, and many other guests. We have frequently worked with businesses who need housing for employee trainings or extended stays. Please contact us to discuss the dates you are looking for and we can provide a quote for you. The Bungalow is fully furnished with all the kitchen amenities and private laundry needed for a longer stay, so you only need to bring your suitcase.

What a fun place for celebrating a friend’s birthday. The bungalow was very clean and in such a quiet area. It accommodated the 5 of us comfortably and had all of the amenities of home. We were close to the downtown and close to the university. We highly recommend this darling place.

Adorable, clean property.
We came to Missoula for a concert and wanted to stay an additional day. This place was perfect. It was clean, modern, very tastefully decorated, close to the university, and had easy access to I-90. I didn't realize it was a basement apartment, and I have no idea who lives upstairs because we didn't hear a peep. It was quiet. We didn't interact with the hosts much because we didn't need to. The instructions were easily understood and everything worked perfectly. I would highly recommend this property if you don't mind being just slightly outside of Missoula.

Wonderful stay
We loved our stay. The hosts were prompt with responses and very accommodating. Property was easy to locate with a secure door entrance and cute backyard set up for enjoyment. The accommodations were clean and clutter-free. We had access to parking and the house was in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We had a quick and easy drive to downtown Missoula to enjoy our planned activities from this location too. We would not hesitate to come back.

Perfect hideaway
I wasn't sure what to expect here, since it's in a daylight basement space, but it was lovely, light, comfortable, and felt very open with higher ceilings. We only stayed one night and didn't have much time to explore Missoula, but this space was perfect for our needs.

Lewiston to Missoula Motorcycle Adventure
The East Mo Bungalo is everything as described and more. Very clean, inside & out. Everything thought of for guests; easy to find & deploy bedding for the fold-out, fully furnished kitchen with thru-door water & ice svc in fridge/freezer. We arrived later than expected, suddenly remembered the Mtn-time change, and had to race off to make our evening reservations for Oppenheimer at the amc IMAX. 1st-arriving for the 2nd time after dark, we had no trouble finding our way in and getting settled.
