Forest Service Type Cabins 30 Meilen außerhalb von Missoula--

Die ELKHORN CABIN ist eine rustikale Jagd- und Angelhütte aus den frühen 60er Jahren. Rock Creek Cabins ist 40 min. von der Innenstadt und dem Flughafen Missoula entfernt. Abgeschieden von der Hauptstraße etwa eine halbe Meile, aber immer noch mit in Minuten Blue Ribbon Fishing. Die Annehmlichkeiten sind rustikal mit einem Bio-Nebengebäude direkt hinter dem Haus und einem 60 Fuß entfernten Duschhaus. Es gibt eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Elektroherd, Kühlschrank, fließend kaltem Wasser (außer im Winter), Kaffeekanne und Toaster. Töpfe und Pfannen - Geschirr -. Bettwäsche und Decken, Holzofen mit Holz zur Verfügung gestellt. Es gibt 3 Queen-Size-Betten, eines davon ist eine ausklappbare Couch. Wandfernseher DVD und Filme. Es gibt auch einen kleinen Forellenbach direkt vor der Hintertür.

Es gibt einen kleinen Bach, den die Winde durch das Grundstück mit Halsabschneiderforellen ziehen.
Wandern Sie direkt vor der Hintertür zu Klippen und einer Aussicht auf die Rock Creek-Gegend.

Abgeschieden eine halbe Meile von der Hauptstraße. Blaues Band, das eine Meile pro Weg fischt. Langlaufen --- Ski fahren raus

Love the Elkhorn cabin on Brewster Creek! Great hiking, flora and fauna, and some gold mining history thrown in. Mike is communicative, delightful, and a wealth of information. Didn't want to leave. Looking forward to next time.

Peaceful and rejuvenating
If peace is what you are looking for, this is it! We got a much needed rejuvenation. Was a cute little cabin in a very quiet setting with a stream running close enough to hear while dozing off to sleep. Will definitely be back when its not raining to take advantage of the campfire!

Wilderness and fishing!
Wilderness and fishing! Being one who is not a fishing enthusiast, it was still a delightfully wonderful off grid experience. Calm, quiet, zillions of stars and the kindest host one could imagine. Played by guitar and relaxed amid the sounds of gurgling rock creek. Highly recommend.

One needs to be ready for a true camping experience not glamping. It truly is a rustic setting and camping style of old time mountain man. If you looking for glamorous camping trip you best find something else. Beautiful setting with wild life all about.

Excellent rustic experience
We chose a rustic cabin with cold running water. Bathroom is an outhouse and shower is a separate short walk from cabin. Has hot water! Very simple and delightful stay with all the basics we needed. Mike is very engaging and helpful. We will be returning.

Wilderness cabin...
As stated in listing this is a very rustic cabin. It is so remote we saw Big Horn Sheep everyday. I really enjoyed it but was a bit rough for my wife and daughter. We had fun and Michael was awesome... very helpful and informative. I'd recommend it for those outdoor types who don't mind walking to the outhouse...lol. Great trout fishing nearby.

Unforgettable Experience
This is a hunting camp. The water comes from a creek, and there is an outhouse. It is old, and it is not luxurious in any way. But if you like having a trout stream out back and possibly a big horn sheep in the yard, you will love it like we did. Our dog liked it even better.

Great Cabin!
The electricity and cold sink water felt like glamping! We had bighorn sheep and deer in the yard. Such a great experience and comfortable for the price. This is off grid but you have service just a few miles away. PERFECT getaway near Missoula!

Friendly host, beautiful wilderness, and a rustic cabin full of charm
Our stay was perfect! We called Mike, the property owner, to get instructions to the cabin, and he was so friendly and gave easy instructions to find the place. When we arrived, he had started a fire in the wood stove for us to warm up the cabin. The location was just wonderful as well. We saw several bighorn sheep and enjoyed the creek weaving through the property. We would definitely stay again!

Great rustic hideaway
We had a great time here, very rustic but comfortable. Heated outhouse with cushioned seat! Really cool 3 season bar w rock music theme right out front door, including an awesome pic of Mission Mountain Wood Band in concert. Wood fired sauna was also nice. We hiked over three miles up into the very scenic valley, would have liked to have gone further but daylight was running out.

We had a great time staying. Cabin is comfortable, Creek is fishable and the owner is wonderful. If you are looking for a 5 star Hilton, this isn’t for you. If you are looking to get off the grid, this is the place to go. Has an outhouse and no warm indoor water. Lots of space and I cannot day enough positive things about the owner. Kind, helpful gentleman. I will stay here whenever going to Montana to fish Rock Creek! Thanks again.

Perfect Getaway
We enjoyed our stay at the A-Frame. Was great to unplug. We stayed busy stoking the wood stove, cooking, playing games, hiking, relaxing in the wood-fired sauna, handing out around the campfire, and chilling in the "Yoga Bar" (attached screened-in bar). Definitely recommend for those willing to put in a little work for a lot of reward.

Beautiful, secluded, just an incredible experience. Mike was out of town so we got brother Dave who was attentive and thorough. They fail to mention that there is a beautiful creek flowing through the front yard of the A-frame. Just an incredible setting with everything you need. Thanks Mike and Dave. We'll be back.
