„We stayed in the Texas cabin with both sections available to us. The cabin was exceptionally clean and absolutely adorable. It was well stocked with dinnerware. The beds were very comfortable and the towels were the biggest I've ever seen. The grounds are beautiful, with a cute walk around the lake and beautiful opportunities for sunrise photos in front of the main lodge. “

„We loved everything during our stay and the property is at a great location. Rooms were well arranged and all the necessities were provided by Chris. Only suggestion I have is the water was smelling which was little uncomfortable else everything was excellent at this location.“

„This was our second year at "Legends". The house has more than adequate space for the 20 family members who were able to make our ski trip to Seven Springs. The 3-story rustic house has massive wood beams and a 14-foot-tall lighted Christmas tree in the spacious Great Room. We all had a wonderful weekend!“

„Great for a cheaper overnight stay than others in the area. Rooms could use serious modernization. Air conditioner is a noisy room unit. They stopped serving a continental breakfast a while back. Room was clean. Owners are very nice and helpful. No frills, bare bones, but not a bad budget room for trippers to the area.“

„Overall, very nice, and worked perfect for our trip. Cleanliness was good. Bathrooms were small, but worked fine. Well equipped kitchen. Property was nice. Great communication with property owner. Wifi connection was poor, but did not impact our trip at all. “

„Everything about this place was perfect. Size: there are few places that offer 40 beds. Our group of 22 adults were thrilled we could all stay under one roof. Location: Just 30 minutes from Beaver Stadium. Nestled away on a quiet road but still a short drive to a Rutter’s. Amenities: Full kitchen, large dinning room, and right next to a playground equipped with sports equipment. We have been doing Penn State tailgates for several years now. This will be where we start our planning going ...

„We had a fabulous weekend celebrating our 40th anniversary at the Shoe House. The house is beautifully decorated with every detail thought of by the hosts. We spent our weekend cooking together, playing games, sitting out by the fire pit and enjoying the hot tub. Sleeping accommodations are comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. The downstairs family room is where we gathered the most and having a full refrigerator, bar, and coffee station was a huge plus. We had a fabulous memorable time. ...
