„We both were frazzled from life and after a 14 hour trip to Eagle River, it was pure heaven! The house was immaculate. It is spacious and very tastefully and minimally decorated to reflect the area and history. The kitchen had everything! Our favorite room was the “library,” with an absolutely stunning view of the lake, sunsets, and town. „It was perfect. The large suite on the main floor was big enough for my daughter, son-in-law and their three young children to sleep. We loved the kitchen too. „I would HIGHLY recommend staying here. It was very clean, comfortable beds with soft bedding and one of the best stocked VRBOs we have stayed in. From an over abundance of bathroom towels to a fully stocked kitchen, if you forgot anything, Carla will probably have it there for you. We brought our own paper products, spices, etc, but it’s all there. The ORV trails are very close and easy to access. Plenty of parking for trucks and trailers. We will definitely return.“

„This was a truly beautiful location, and directly on Lake Superior. Very nice outdoor seating with a view to sunrises, and to just listen to the waves. The water was quite pleasant and very shallow for quite a ways out due to rock formations. While a bit out of the way from everything (and cell phone service is pretty sketchy in this part of the UP), the house had Wifi which corrected for the poor cell phone service, and it was 20-30 minute drive to many beautiful sites and hikes.
