„Das Hotel ist leider mit seiner Einrichtung in sehr die Jahre gekommen. Es besteht überall Bedarf zur Renovierung. Die Lage des Hotels ist einzigartig, dazu passt der momentane Zustand des Hotels nicht.“

„Stunning palazzo with historic charm and incredible views of the sea and the Etna. Valet parking was available and easy to access as the palazzo is located in the pedestrian area. We booked an executive junior suite for family of 3, the sofa bed is small/twin size, which was a little surprising to me but the view made up for it. We only had breakfast in the restaurant which looked beautiful but we usually prefer to walk around and try something outside of the hotels.“

They are quite difficult to communicate with - e.g. they will tell you they will call when the taxi is there and never do (we had to pay extra because he had to wait so long). „Das Hotel ist ein Klassiker. Allerdings sollte man einige Zimmerrenovierungen in Betracht ziehen. Frühstück und Service sind sehr gut, Lage und Blick auf die Bucht und auf den Etna, sind einzigartig. Man sollte jedoch gut zu Fuß sein um die vielen Treppen zu bewältigen.“
