Summary:
This charming cottage is perfect for couples or small families. Nestled at the end of a quiet walkable street, it offers extra privacy and safety with a protective brick wall. The well-lit driveway and entrance, adorned with dusk-to-dawn string lights, ensure an easy check in. A fully stocked kitchen, smart TV and high speed WiFi for the business traveller. For coffee lovers, we provide Community Coffee both pods & pre-measured grounds.

The Space:
This cozy cottage features two luxe king beds with high quality linens for a comfortable nights sleep. A recent remodel & tasteful decor offers a comfortable stay. A new model washer/dryer are also available in the home for guest use.

Family visit, decent stay with some concerns

The house was nicely decorated and clearly a reno. Overall the stay was nice. It was more space than we needed but nice to have the extra area to move around and relax. When we arrived, we went to the front door to enter, not realizing the side door by the drive was the door with the keypad to enter the house. Upon seeing no keypad, I tried the door knob off the front door, and to my shock it was UNLOCKED and the door opened. As a female traveling without my husband, with my small child, I was hesitant to enter but luckily my father was with me so we thoroughly searched the house, closets, etc. to make sure there were no intruders hiding. When settling in, I found a crusty stain on the comforter that looked like fecal matter, and the bed in the room we selected to stay in had no bed sheet, so I took the one off the other bed and added it to ours. Before we left, I stripped our bed and put the linens along with the dirty comforter I found, in the laundry room, so hopefully the housekeepers would wash it for the next visitors. Unfortunately there were a few other concerns, like the un-emptied trash in the kitchen from previous guests. And the transition strips between one of the bedrooms and the kitchen were about an inch high and it matched the floor so it was hard to see the large height difference between the rooms, which caused my child to trip and fall several times, hitting the floor hard. I suggest the owners add something to warm of the big transition.

Perfect getaway

Excellent rental if you are visiting ULM

I stayed at this rental as I helped my son move into his college housing for the year. Close to campus, much nicer than nearby hotels, very safe area and charming accommodations. I will stay here again on my next visit if it is available - a real gem!

This was a cute little house that feels safely positioned at the end of a dead end street. It came stocked with coffee and cold water in the fridge which is SO NICE after traveling all day. There was extra TP, papertowels and even laundry detergent - little things like that make a difference. Didnt have any issues at all. Would recommend.

Charming Home

All the vintage charm with modern amenities. Within a block of a Beautiful bayou and all the Southern Charm. Safe neighborhood, big backyard and large bedrooms. We came in town for a wedding and this was so much better than a cramped hotel room! Thank you for sharing your home!
