La Grande Motte is located in Petite Camargue, close to tourist villages such as Palavas, Aigues-Mortes, Le Grau du Roi and Port-Camargue.
The airport is 10mn away, the Sud de France train station is 15mn away by car.
Montpellier, 20 km away, is a charming city and is worth a visit for its historical centre which is entirely pedestrianised and its good restaurants. The hinterland is also to be discovered with its picturesque villages and its white water activities (canoeing, rafting etc.).
