The Space:
This 1,000 sq ft of space is on the second floor of a three-story building in the ever-so-charming LE PLATEAU neighborhood. It’s a very comfortable stay for friends & groups or remote workers, and you’ll be within walking distance of almost anything you’d need.

The main spaces of the apartment:

- Comfortable OPEN LIVING SPACE with chic furnishings, hardwood flooring, plenty of sofa seating, and a flatscreen HDTV. It’s a prime spot for downtime moments at home.

- A large wood DINING table that seats 8 for quiet and relaxing meals at home. You can also use the table as a nice laptop-friendly workspace if needed.

- 3 BEDROOMS with a chic design, comfortable beds, and quality bed linens and 2 FULL BATHROOMS (towels provided) to accommodate 8 guests as such:

BEDROOM 1: 1 Queen bed and 1 Twin bed
BEDROOM 2: 2 Twin beds that can be pushed together to become a king-sized bed
BEDROOM 3: An independent unit next door (at the end of the corridor) with a queen-sized bed, kitchenette & 2nd full bathroom
COMMON AREA: 1 Twin/Single floor mattress (upon request)

PLUS, pedestrian-only streets are back for another summer in Montreal, and Mont-Royal will be closed to traffic and become a long linear park, perfect for lazy strolls, rest stops, eating, drinking, shopping and fun times with friends and groups!

The apartment is in the trendy area of Le Plateau, one of the most fun areas in the city with tree-lined picturesque streets.

- You'll be right on Mont-Royal Avenue and walking distance from Saint-Denis Street & Saint-Laurent Blvd. These are all famous destination streets lined with casual cafes, laid-back eateries, lively bars, galleries, theaters, shops & boutiques.
- Several parks nearby, most notable: Mount Royal, a landmark mountain and park with a year-round lookout and sweeping views of the city & Parc La Fontaine, with beautiful views surrounded by nature, recreational activity, a dog park and more.
- Close to Old Montreal to soak in some culture. About 3.4 km | 2.1 miles from the apartment.
- About 700 meters or 0.4 miles to public transportation (Mont-Royal metro station) for easy mobility around the city.

- Old Montreal (3.4 km/2.1 mi): a flashback to the 17th century with narrow cobblestone streets, lively plazas, charming shops & cafes. Plus, landmarks like Notre-Dame Basilica & Pointe-à-Callière Museum & along the St. Lawrence River, you’ll find the Montreal Science Center & the iconic Clock Tower.

Getting Around:
The nearest metro station is about 700 meters | 0.4 miles away and the apartment is 22.4 km/14 mi or 25 minutes away from the Montréal-Trudeau Int'l Airport (YUL).

PARKING: If you want to park your car on the street, please pay attention to the signs.

Other Things to Note:
Please note this unit is located in an old building, like most short-term licensed buildings in Montreal, and all the buildings in the Plateau-Mont Royal neighborhood - which is what makes this area so appealing to visitors. It is not a recently built condo (there are very few new condos in the city of Montreal and they don't have license to host on Airbnb). Please expect small inconveniences such as old guillotine windows that may require something to hold them open, floors that will not be perfectly flat, AC is not central. During winter months the windows will have an extra insulating plastic layer to prevent cold drafts. Nevertheless this unit is professionally cleaned and maintained.

This apartment is 5 minute walking distance to La Fontaine and Sir-Wilfried-Laurier Parks, perfect for a morning stroll with your animals

To help us ensure a good relationship with our community and monitor your compliance with our house rules, this home is equipped with MINUT, a noise, occupancy and smoke sensor approved by Airbnb.

There is the potential for street noise, like traffic and passers-by.

Guests will need to climb one flight of stairs as the apartment is on the 2nd floor.

PARKING: If you want to park your car on the street, please pay attention to the signs. Parking is generally paid on main avenues such as Ave Mont-Royal. Most secondary streets in the area are reserved for permit holders only. You purchase one permit for $8 every 24 hrs and enter the code PMR02 in any parking kiosk (please remember to leave the permit on your dashboard). *WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PARKING FINES OR TICKETS.*

The apartment is certified by the Corporation de l'industrie Touristique du Québec and GST and QST are included in the price. For business travelers, we can provide an invoice for tax deductions.

There is no daily housekeeping service but if you'd like the place cleaned during your stay, cleaning can be arranged for a fee.

Pets are not allowed to climb on the sofas or beds. No pet fees apply, but if additional cleaning is needed, you will be required to pay an additional fee. Aggressive or dangerous animals are not allowed.

We provide some essentials to make you feel more at home when you arrive: trash bags in all trash cans, toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, dish soap and dishwasher tabs. Please note that these items are not replenishable. If you run out, you’ll need to purchase more.

Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.

A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.

Please take note that candles, incense or any other burnable object with flames inside the property are strictly prohibited.

The air conditioning system is attached to the window frames, and removed during winter season to ensure an optimal temperature and prevent cold air leaks inside the apartment.
For this reason, we install the AC system in May and remove it and seal the windows in October (approximate dates). If you would like to know whether the air conditioning amenity will be available during your stay, please ask us in advance so we can inform you. There is no AC available during the winter months.

House Rules:
- Travelers must be at least 21 years old to book.
- No smoking of any kind (tobacco or cannabis) in the apartment, and the use of recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty.
- No parties/events or illegal activity is permitted and excessive noise will not be tolerated. Please, no music after 10 pm. You may enjoy music at a moderate volume until 10 pm. We just ask that you please be respectful of the neighbors. The area has great restaurants and clubs where you can continue past 10 pm.
- To help us keep a good relationship with our community and monitor your compliance with our house rules, the apartment is equipped with Minut, a noise sensor that measures decibel levels (not a recording device), a signal detection sensor that counts the number of devices in the apartment at any one time (it does not access any personal information), and a cigarette smoke detector.
- In the event of excessive noise, power to the unit will be shut off.
- Please do not tamper with or disconnect any devices.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or an extra-cleaning charge if such is needed after their stay.
- Renters may be required to provide a government ID upon booking, on the day of checking in, or during their stay for identity verification.
- Max of 2 Pets are allowed.
- No shoes can be worn inside the house.
- Guests are responsible for any fines, penalties or consequences that result from the guest's actions or violations of the house rules.

The apartment is spacious and the communication with the owner is easy, but the apartment is not as we expected. Very noisy. One room was just big enough for the bed. The beds are not comfortable.

Perfect location!
Loved the apartment and loved opening the building door right into the pedestrian street of Mont Royal. Parking can be tricky - suggest using one of the 3-hour meters to unload and then park at Parking du Gaspé - a .9 mile walk from the place. I paid less than $20 for parking from Thursday until Saturday there. Would absolutely stay here again. Pablo communicated quickly and even let us check in early

Best location!
This has to be the best location in all of Montreal. The restaurants and shopping are obviously amazing. Definitely check out the large park a few blocks away. There are free events at the amphitheatre during the summer. We were lucky enough to catch a street dance competition. Parking was a little tricky to figure out, but there are free spaces on the adjacent roads. You just need to read the signs carefully so that you move your car on street cleaning days. The staff at Bacaro downstairs were kind and helped us to sort out parking. We would return to this location again. The only downside in the unit was that there wasn't much in the way of pots and pans for cooking. There was exactly one pot, and no lid. I believe there were two pans. Enough to make it work, but don't expect a fully equipped kitchen.

I was under the impression we’re renting a 3 bedroom apartment, it turns out we rented a 2 bedroom apartment, plus a studio apartment. The studio apartment had a very strange AC unit, after communicating with the property manager, they changed however, the new unit was still loud, I had to turn it off at night to be able to sleep. Although, the unit was clean, the bed was not comfortable.

Nice, clean apartment in a fantastic location! Be aware that parking is challenging and expensive and the recommendation for eye masks and ear buds/plugs was spot on for the busy area. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay!

The apartment was clean and neat and in a great location! Room 1A was nicely separated from the main living space for a couple that wanted privacy. We had a little trouble with the front door access but the host was addressing it and there was an interior door that was secure. The host was very responsive to our questions.

It was OK
We were 7 people, so we had 2 apartments, the smaller of which was extremely small both were dated but clean. we had a problem with the in-room air conditioning and the electric circuit tripping, but the owner was very responsive and rerouted some extension cords so that we didn't have any additional problems. Parking is a big problem. The stairs are inside and while steep, easy to navigate. one of the 2 shared W/D didn't work.

Amazing location
My friends and I celebrated our 40th birthdays and we had a great time at Pablo’s place. Pablo was an amazing host and highly responsive. Right outside the apartment building is where the action starts with road side shopping and eateries during the day time, and bars for the evening/night fun. Mount royale is about a couple of miles, so very convenient if you want to go for a walk / jog.

Amazing place in le plateau!
Our group had the most wonderful time in Montreal thanks to this property! Right next to parc la fontaine, and around so many places to eat, drink and socialize. We would definitely consider the place again, and our host was so nice and accommodating. The place itself was exactly how it looks in the listing, it was everything we thought it would be and more. Would book again!

Loved our long weekend in Montreal!
We (two married couples with two dogs) had a fun, comfortable stay at this Le Plateau apartment. The neighborhood can't be topped: you'll be blocks away from La Fontaine Park, St-Viateur Bagel, and lots of restaurants, bars, cafes, and vintage shops. Tommy Cafe is right downstairs, and the metro or Uber will quickly get you anywhere else you want to go. We enjoyed the layout of this rental, which is actually two apartments (one primary, one smaller) with a short hallway between — great for communing together in one space or having privacy in separate spaces. The property manager is friendly and communicative. Would recommend this to anyone as your home base for exploring Montreal!

Nice location in Mont Royal neighborhood
Great location for shops and dining. Living room/dining room are as described. The kitchen is not very well-equipped. Specifically, there are only 2 dinner-sized plates. The rest are smaller. There are no potholders, and limited pots and pans, making cooking difficult. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Girls trip to Montreal
The property is in a very cute area of Montreal about 20 minutes drive to Old Montreal. The area has cute shops, restaurants, etc... Uber rides even in peak times were around $20 to get to tourist areas. The place was clean and bright as advertised with everything you need for a basic stay. Check in process was seamless but there is a very steep flight of stairs to get up to the unit so pack light or be prepared to lug things up the stairs. I drove in from Toronto and there was always free on street parking nearby which was great. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and would return .

Great Stay!
We found this listing by fluke 2 weeks before we were looking to go, as it was posted at that time. There was a bit of a hesitation because of course at times things seem too good to be true, the price was right and the place looked good. So when we got there and saw that everything was like in the pictures, it was a relief! The property was clean and spacious. We were happy to have a full kitchen in order to cook. A complete bathroom and there was a separate area down the hall that had an extra bed, kitchenette and full bathroom as well. It worked great for 7 adults. I would only say that there wasn’t enough pots/pans/cooking utensils in case it is something necessary for your trip. The location was amazing. In summer MTL closes the streets and the stores and restaurants have the patio or outdoor set-up and the roads are closed on Mount Denis. It is close to the mount denis look out point. The subway is about a 10 min walk. Parking was a breeze as well. There are multiple grocery, liquor, convenience stores on both sides of the rental. Literally everything minutes away. Overall I would definitely rebook here. It was a great experience and the host made it super easy to get in touch with. Prompt response. Very friendly, no qualms whatsoever.
