Nestled in a picturesque rural setting, our cozy 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home offers the perfect retreat for families, friends, or couples seeking a peaceful getaway. Whether you're swinging under the starlit sky or savoring morning coffee on the porch watching the cows, you'll find tranquility and relaxation at every turn.

With one queen bed, one double bed, and one bedroom with a twin trundle, this 3 bedroom 2 full bath house can easily sleep 6 guests. There are two spots for covered parking and a firepit just a short walk up the hill with breathtaking views of the western NC mountainside. Enjoy the fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer and high speed wifi.

This updated home is close to downtown Morganton and all its surrounding areas have to offer. Only 3 miles from the NC school of Math and Science, 5 miles to downtown Morganton, and 6 miles from UNC BlueRidge Hospital. It's a short 20 minute drive to Lake James, 50 miles from downtown Asheville, Boone/Blowing Rock, and a quick drive to hope on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Outdoor enthusiasts will delight in the abundance of hiking/biking trails, and scenic overlooks waiting to be discovered just moments from our doorstep.

Perfect get away
This house was perfect for a weekend get away. Country enough to be quiet but still close to town and plenty of things to do. We enjoyed cooking breakfasts in the kitchen and movie nights on the couch. We even had deer visit several times while we were there. Hosts were great and easy to communicate with.

Absolutely Amazing Modern Rental With Astounding Attention To Detail From Owners
My family and myself have rented 30-40 different VRBOs over the last decade. For the location and being so close to downtown Morganton this is an awesome retreat close to home. I have never stayed in a proper with so much attention to detail from the Owners of the rental. There was lots of safety features like toilet bowl locks and Trash can locks to prevent service animals or children from getting in. There were rubber protectors on the corners of counter tops to prevent injury. Once I arrived I was amazed at how much larger the inside of the house was. The view of the the front porch is very relaxing. For service animals the entire front area is chicken wired in. Across from the porch is a beautiful view of a cow pasture. My stay there felt like a home a way from home. Which is exactly what I wanted but close enough by to my actual home. Usually at any VRBO you will have to make a trip to the store for basically amenities like toothbrush, mouthwash, toothpaste. Not at this place! All of that is provided if you need it. There is not a lot of street lights around so at night you can lay down and stair at the stars! By far my favorite VRBO I've rented for the type of property it is. Has rustic vibes but very modern amenities as well.

This is located in the outskirts of Morganton in a nice quiet neighborhood.. close enough to “run” to town. We enjoyed the yard it is fenced in and didn’t have to worry about the toddler playing outside as we enjoyed the front porch. Very clean! Pleasant experience our 1st trip to Morganton.

Wonderful country home, but close to everything!
This home is fabulous!! Sparkling clean, comfortable beds, spacious well equipped kitchen and easy communication with the owners. There's a lovely country view of pastures and rolling hills. Highly recommend this fantastic home!
