„My husband and I stayed here during Lime Rock Parks Memorial Day weekend. It was perfect. Lovely location, great communication and easy check in. Bedding and towels were clean and soft. „I believed I was booking an "apartment" for my wife and 6yo son to stay. When she arrived what she found was something more like a shed in the driveway of a much larger house next to it. Parking is crowded. My wife didn't feel safe so I told her to go get a hotel. BTW, neither VRBO nor the property owner were interested in capitulation.“

„We had a great time at Highland Lake. The apartment was so comfortable, and larger than I would have thought from the description. It was convenient to town - the teens loved access to DQ, pizza shops, etc just a few minutes away. There were kayaks and a paddleboat we could borrow, which I somehow missed in the description - nice pluses! The lake access from the dock was perfect. „Perfect for our visit to our children and grand children. The lake is across the street with the marina next door. Rented a pontoon boat, at a discounted rate for beautiful day with the kids. Minor problem getting in initially, but resolved by Jeanne quickly. Note that this is a renovated lake residence which has a second story rental which can get a bit noisy and the bathroom is in the rear of the house with the bedroom in the front. Overall will be returning in the future.“

„This place is Fantastic, and Flora is Such a Great host!! Perfect location in Avon, super spacious, and clean, and has everything you need! Walking distance to restaurants and shops. This will now be our Go-to rental, each time we're back in CT to visit family. It is such a Cozy unit! The only suggestion I would caution, is that the stairs to enter/exit unit, are steep and a tight squeeze for anyone with mobility constraints.“
