The Lexington Camp is located between Blackwell and Cedar Run. The cabin is conveniently located within easy walking/biking distance to Pine Creek and the Pine Creek Rail Trail by entering at the Rattlesnake Rock Access Area (less than 3/4 mile from camp), where you can enjoy hiking, biking, swimming, and fishing.
You will feel right at home with a fully equipped kitchen/dining area on the first floor that leads to a large living area where you can relax with family and friends, play games, watch TV on a 55” Smart TV with ROKU, or sit by the picture window and enjoy the view outside.
A full bathroom includes a walk-in shower. A washer and dryer are at your disposal for those extended stays.
Upstairs is a spacious open sleeping area with one king, two queen, and four full size beds. Sheets and comforters are supplied and beds are fully made and ready upon arrival.
The kitchen includes two full size refrigerators, gas stove (w/removable griddle) and oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, toaster, crockpot, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, cups, cookie sheets, bowls, etc.
Complimentary coffee and tea, are also included. A gas grill is available on the deck for all your BBQing needs.

Whether hiking or biking, the scenic 62-mile Pine Creek Rail Trail, (named by USA Today as one of 10 best places in the world to bike), will offer you miles of natural beauty. Part of the trail runs for 47-miles at the bottom of the Pine Creek Gorge, also known as the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. The trail is a hard packed gravel surface with a 2% grade and perfect for the whole family, whether experienced or inexperienced, as the trail is smooth, flat and well maintained.
Bikes can be rented in Blackwell, at Miller's Store. Pine Creek Outfitters also rents bikes, electric bikes and provides shuttle services North from Rattlesnake Rock Access.
Hiking Trails Nearby
While the Pine Creek Rail Trail is a beautiful hike, if you are looking for something more adventurous for the experienced hiker there are several trails nearby.
West Rim Trail and School House Trail: The southern terminus of the trailhead is located across from the Rattlesnake Rock Access Area.
Bohen Trail: Starts in Blackwell at the western side of the bridge and is a strenuous 8.5-mile out-and-back trail. There are two stunning waterfalls along the hike. This trail also connects to the West Rim Trail.
The most popular fishing streams nearby are Pine Creek, Cedar Run (Trophy Trout Regulations apply) and Slate Run (Fly Fishing only). The Slate Run Tackle Shop is nearby and an excellent resource for stream conditions, fishing supplies, information, and fly hatches.
Slate Run also has Wolfes General Store, a neat little place to visit. The tackle shop is located within the store. It's a great place to check out souvenirs, grab a bite to eat, or pick up a few groceries.

You can also visit the historic gaslit town of Wellsboro. Take a stroll downtown and visit the many quaint shops, restaurants or catch a movie. Nearby, you can take a scenic horse-drawn covered wagon tour.
During the summer and fall months, If you don't mind dirt roads, you can take a scenic drive up the mountain via the West Rim Road. There are spectacular views of the PA Grand Canyon at Bradley Wales Scenic Area which is approximately 12 miles from the cabin. After leaving Bradley Wales you can either backtrack to the cabin or continue for 11 miles to Colton State Park for more fantastic views of the Canyon. There are also many hiking trails that can be accessed from the West Rim Road.
Don't want to venture away from the cabin? Cook your favorite meals in our fully stocked kitchen or outside on the grill. Enjoy relaxing on the covered front porch, soaking up the sun on the side deck or relishing the mountain view from the backyard.
