Welcome to the Halcyon Haven! Enjoy the bright, lively touches of this home with the whole family. Suitable for those coming to the area to visit family/friends or traveling for work. Have a taste of the quiet, rural vibes with the added convenience of being located mins outside of DT Peoria. Use our home for a staycation or as a stopping point during a long journey as it is just 5 MINS from I-74, the 500 mile junction between the Midwestern and Southeastern US.

Clean lines, neutral colors, and minimalist furniture create the ultimate midcentury modern style which is not only trendy but sleek, eye-catching, and totally Insta-worthy!

The Airbnb unit can be accessed through the door on the right (closest to the garage) with the electronic lock. The driveway, garage, and backyard are not accessible to the guests.

• This is an Airbnb community, not a hotel, and is also my home, please be respectful of the property and keep it clean before you leave. (Respect our property and our things)

• If you have a complaint about any aspect of the property upon addressing this complaint to Airbnb and/or to us you are authorizing us to enter the property and fix the stated issue to solve the problem. We don't need permission to access the property if there is something that you deem unsuitable, that needs remedy

• Smoking is a violation of our house rules and something you can’t do. This leaves the house in a condition not suitable for the next guest

• Locals must contact the host before booking

• Your white glove service includes linens, bath towels, as well as a starting supply of essentials such as toilet paper, paper towels, laundry pods and basic toiletries. Additional supplies can be purchased by guests for an additional charge

• To provide the best quality service to our guest, we offer luxury hotel-quality towels/linens. Please be respectful of bed sheets and towels.

• Makeup/foundation, towels are to be used only for their intended purposes (Any makeup/foundation face medications/creams, and tanning products that stain our regular towels will result in additional charges

Please avoid using regular hand/bath towels with all skin products.

Guest are not to wash laundry belonging to the home in order to hide stains. Un-salvageable linens/bath towels will be charged to the guest. Our Housekeeping team will wash all the laundry.

• Check-in at 4pm / Check-out at 11am Check out time is STRICTLY 11 AM unless late check out is previously confirmed

• Any unscheduled late check out is subjected to a late check out fee of $100 USD.

• If your unscheduled late checkout exceeds two hours we will charge your for an additional day. This does not award you possession of the property for an additional day, it is a penalty assessed for holding up our next guest and preventing our housekeeping team from doing their jobs.

• This additional day charge is the BASE RATE of the room without discounts that may have been applied

• The occupancy limit for this property is 4 and any additional guest on the property will be automatically vacated for trespassing

• Broken, damaged, or missing items will result in additional charges

• No parties or events

• No loud noises between 9pm-10am

• No outside noises between 8pm-10am

• No unregistered guests

• No pets, unless it is a service animal which documentation will need to be provided

• No illegal activities and weapons of any kind

• No smoking of any kind

• Park in your designated area

• Do not re-arrange indoor and outdoor furniture

• Please let us know immediately if something is malfunctioning so it can be rectified. However, all damages or missing items will need to be paid for by you before departure.

• If the house is damaged or dirty, in a condition beyond what a reasonable, courteous, guest, would leave the apartment in, an additional $100 cleaning fee will be assessed.

• Please acknowledge that occasionally, we may leave consumables such as condiments or snacks. These are free and please indulge yourself to your desire. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guests' discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables or any allergies that the guest might have.

• Any house rules violation is ground for immediate termination of your stay

• $200 Per day that you are smoking inside or on the property
• $100 Late Checkout Fee
• $Price of the room for the day with no discounted rate (Base Rate) if the late checkout exceeds 2 hours
• $250 Smart Lock replacement if our smart lock equipment is damaged
• $100 Lost Gate Keycard/ Key from lockbox

family visit
window air conditioner roaring Noise extreme. one in hall and only one in bedroom, other bedroom no air conditioner broken window in back bedroom bathroom door squeaks people standing at front door can see inside as you come out bathroom !!!!! cracks in walls and paint peeling soiled living room couch in kitchen only had 2 tablespoons, 2 teaspoons, 3 forks, 3 knives, couldn't have anyone over. couldn't get the washer to work, after contact with the owner, they were going to send repairman, finally it was decided that it wasn't plugged in, the washer /dryer was important because only brought a few days of clothing. stairs are steep the tub/shower has no bar to hold on to step in and out and also nothing in bottom of tub so you don't slip and fall. we had to go out and buy a non slip bath mat to put in tub so we could stand up and we used the window sill to hold on to get out of the tub. no instructions for fire stick for the TV. Also, since it was fire stick on TV could not watch our regular TV programs. not worth the price/value we paid. very disappointed with with rental .

Nice and easy
The property is nice but definitely an old building. Also the windows had cracks in them, bed wasn’t the most comfortable thing I’ve slept in but it gets the job done. Cleaning fees are a bit much on this property. There’s no central AC and only had two AC units which one of the bedrooms didn’t have one. And the door was hanging off the hinges. All of that can be good a side though. Check in process was easy, neighborhood was nice, location to Peoria was decent, it is equipment with everything you’d need in the kitchen and had a smart TV. It is an upstairs unit so you need to be able to do stairs.
