„We’ve stayed in Bundanoon many times and this is still the best accommodation option. Has a great restaurant and cosy cocktail bar, easy safe parking and a comfortable (albeit old) property. We were given one of the larger rooms (and we always book a room that contains our own bathroom) and were quite comfortable. „We stayed here overnight to attend a wedding nearby. The cabin/villa was great. Everything was updated, super clean and the bed was very comfy. David provides a lot of heating options (heater in the lounge, bed had heated blankets and an additional fan heater) so we were comfy and warm through the night. The best part of the place is the view, we watched the sunrise from the front porch and had a few kangaroos come visit which was amazing. Highly recommend!“

„We had a beautiful weekend away here! The property is stunning and right in the bush. It was a little hard to find as we arrived in the dark but was worth it. The property looked like the photos and the outdoor shower was great! The kitchen is decently stocked and the bbq works great! We would love to stay again“

„We chose to have a very quiet Xmas this year. Staying for 4 nights at Heron’s Rest was peaceful calm and serene. The surroundings and scenery are beautiful with the dam taking centre stage with lotus flowers bobbing and blooming. A glass of wine on the pontoon and watching our dog get control of her ‘Pontoon legs’ was very entertaining! We had everything we needed in the accommodation. The skyscraper loaf of bread was sublime. We would definitely return. Thanks again to our hosts.“
