„The cabin was very nice. It was off the road, so no road noise. It was esthetically nice as a well-built traditional carpentry pine cabin throughout. Well equipped kitchen. Nice screened in porch. Very clean. I would return if going back to Arcadia. It is a little ways to Bar Harbor and southern end of the island but well located to other hiking. We loved it. “

„We truly enjoyed our stay at Abby Lane. The basement was perfect for our teenager. We loved how there were board games to play with the family and also many local brochures to help with planning. We appreciate how there were plenty starting products such as toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, dish soap, and plenty of extra towels. The washer and dryer were a huge bonus! Having a stocked kitchen was incredibly helpful for breakfast each morning and we even noticed a large pot for cooking ...

„This property is as good as it looks in the photos. It was quiet despite being on Main St and over a breakfast/lunch/dinner place. The rooms are bright and comfortable. The owners were very responsive. “

„Heavily misrepresented surrounded on three sides by construction equipments and various piles of refuse. Shed is divided in two, with construction porta potty as only restroom. Shower set up is illegally with dirty shower water going directly onto the forest floor, an environmental hazard. Entire area was dirty and porta potty was full. Was forced to find a different room last minute because the host was completely non responsive to multiple Messages and attempts to reach them. Only plus is that ...

„Listing says it’s walkable, but it’s probably a good 20 minute walk and it’s not ideal with kids because of traffic once you get into Acadia. It is a short drive to Jordan pond house though. Our mattress was from 2007 and we did not sleep good at all because of it. Not enough seats for 4 to relax in living room after a long day of hiking either. Very responsive host so that was a positive.“

„This house was amazing and we can’t wait to come back! Not one complaint. Host was fantastic at communicating and left snacks which was so sweet. The boys enjoyed the yurt and yard and Acadia was beautiful. “

„We stayed here for a long weekend in October with our 3 kids (9, 7 and 4) and my parents. Location was great, close to Bar Harbor but far enough to feel in the woods. Fireplace wasn’t working but owner responded quickly with extra space heaters for us. “
