„A really special stay. The theme of the old jail was done really well. The interaction with staff was very good. Common areas designed quite nice. The cleaning in the bathrooms could be better. And the sourronding area isn't quite nice and by foot it takes half an hour to be in the City Centre (15 min by bus). “

„Sehr nettes Hostel, dass allerdings in die Jahre gekommen ist. Küche und Aufenthaltsräume sind super gemütlich und auch sauber. Zimmer sind recht einfach. Die Lage mitten im Ort ist super.“

„We booked a twin room which was very clean and thebeds were warm and comfy ! In the living room was always a warm fire , movies on the PlayStation and games to play ! I enjoyed my staying at big tree lodge and I'll come back! Thanks to the hosts Lee, Heather and Roger , it was nice to meet you “

„Stayed 2nights in private double. Late check in email stated room would be unlocked - it wasn't. Nobody answered the phone. We had to stretch in the window to unlock the door. The room stank. Really horrible old damp smell. Next day we were locked out of our room with our belongings inside "pending payment" - payment had been taken online already. Took 5 phone calls to get keys to our room sorted.“

„Poor environmental hygiene and unfriendly services provided by the female staff: 1) Towel of the precedent was displaced on the corridor to ny room. Nobody did any warship in the pantry and bathroom. 2) I had requested for the login and password of the WiFi for several times but the unhelpful female staff in the reception of the office insisted to offer any assistance. Then I asked her if there was any pillow case provided. The female staff replied that pillow case should be bought but is ...
