Great Tiny House perfect for one or two people
Wanted a quick getaway for the weekend and found it at Pat and Freds Tiny House. Perfectly positioned above Summer Haven and walking distance to everything. Super easy to find and in a great location. There is lots of storage under the bed for our stuff and the patio that faces the town gives a feeling of extra space. We highly recommend the place and the communication with our Host was excellent. This is not the Ritz but it is a real treat that I would highly recommend

Amazing
Staying here was amazing, the night sky and stars to look at from the deck. Weather was fantastic a little chilly in the shade but wonderful in the sun. Walked to the Sawmill restaurant, Cookie cabin, gift shops in Summerhaven from the tiny house. It was great not having to drive to the destinations.

Not worth the price
The day of my stay I had to contact the owner via VRBO to get the check-in instructions. They said that they called and left VMM that I never received. They have a 3-page list of things you can and cannot do at their tiny home. Getting into the house was a pain (lockbox) then the front door would not lock from inside. Inside it is very sparse. There are no places to hang up anything. There is no mat at the front door to wipe your wet/muddy feet, so you track it into the house... The bath towels were so old they could have been used as a luffa due to their stiffness and scratchiness... The bedding had black stuff in between the sheets. After spending the nite on a very hard bed where I did not sleep well at all (nightmares), I decided to leave a day early. Despite the hefty cleaning fee, they require you wash your own dishes and put them away too! For the money I will rent a hotel if I ever go there again. The whole process was not worth the money nor the hassle trying to get in and out of the place.

Had a lovely stay in the tiny home of Fred and Pat. Fred was very kind and gave any and all info you could possibly need about the home and surrounding area. There was a lovely view on the deck and it was decently private. I would recommend them and their tiny home any time!

Perfect for 2 people or even a solo trip. Loved the location and how quiet it was. Perfect place to star gaze at night. Town is less then a 5 minute walk and there beautiful hiking trails close by. Will most definitely be going back.

Great Getaway!
This is a secluded location that offers a lot of privacy. It is a tiny home so be prepared for some limitations but, it had everything we needed. It is in walking distance to the Main Street. We would go back again.

Property was nice. However, getting into bed is a bit of a problem without a stepstool. Mattress (top) height for my wife was at waist level, hip level for me. Communication with the owner was tenuous at best. Views from the deck are fantastic, sky, cobalt blue, temps, great. JB

Very nice!
This was the perfect property for me and my husband. The hosts were extremely nice. We will stay here again. Very clean. Not in the middle of a bunch of other cabins so there was just enough privacy. This was our anniversary and the only thing that would have made it better was if we could stay where we were married but that cabin burned down during the aspen fire. I highly recommend this property! Thankyou Fred and Patricia!

Great for a weekend getaway!
Quaint, cozy little home nestled in the ridge overlooking Summerhaven's main drag. Not much storage space inside, so don't bring the whole kit and caboodle! Centrally located, you are minutes away from the restaurants, visitor's center, and general store by foot, and only a 5 minute drive down the road to the Ski Valley. Word to the wise -- the mountain shops and restaurants closed around 5:00 pm during our stay... Make sure you have what you need before you head up the mountain on day 1 of your trip (or plan to get up there before places close). We will be back!!

Winter/snow review
I have a compact car and I was unable to park at the property due the snow/unplowed road. I was advised the road doesn't get plowed bc it is partially paved. I phoned the host to advised of the issue/figure out parking. The host called me 5 hours later. I had to haul my belonging up and down the hill/down a road. Ultimately I had to park at the community center approx 5 minutes walking distance. I left a day early. I was concerned about the freezing temps and carrying my belongings up and down the hill without injury. Also there was not a shovel/doormat or place to put wet gear. Overall a stressful experience. In dry conditions I think it would be fine.

The owners are responsive and happy to help. It IS a tiny home, so things like hanging clothes closets do not exist. Overall, I found it to be a great place to stay!

Nice Getaway
My Daughter and I stayed comfortably in the tiny home for a couple nights. It's small but there were two heaters on opposite sides of the home which was nice for the cold nights. The home was clean and we had everything we needed. It was peaceful sitting on the large porch drinking coffee while watching the wildlife. My Daughter and I would definitely stay here again as a nice getaway from everyday life.

Tiny Home Delights!
Staying in this cozy "tiny home" in Summerhaven was just what my husband and I needed after months of stress. The deck provided beautiful views of the cabins and mountains and we were just minutes away from downtown. The oversized shower was a big plus for us and being able to open the windows at night made for a peaceful night's sleep listening to the crickets and the gurgling stream. We loved every minute of our stay.
