„One of the most beautiful resorts I have stayed at. The canopy treehouse we were staying in had extraordinary view, and we enjoyed the beautiful outdoor shower. We were able to watch monkeys in the treetops, bids, butterflies were also frequently sighted. A great place for anyone who loves nature. The staff was exceptional! The food was also 10/10. Overall great experience. “

„I don't typically write reviews but I have to hand it to the staff at the Blancaneaux Lodge. Flawless service, kind, friendly and helpful at all times, in every area of the resort. The place is truly magical, and their incredible staff are the secret sauce. The property is top notch, but warm and authentic, not ostentatious or showy. My family felt immediately at home. „Das Hotel ist absolut spitze - leider (für uns) an der falschen Lage. Die 75minütige Fahrt dahin war durch den Schlamm nur mit einem 4x4 zu bewältigen. Man meint lange, im falschen Film am falschen Ort zu sein und würde in dieser Wildnis nie ein so tolles Hotel vermuten. War ein total gemütliches Hotel unter deutsch/afrikanischer Leitung, Spitzen-Küche, ruhige Lage, schöner Garten. Kann nur mit Superlativen um mich schmeissen. Aber, man muss sich wirklich der Lage gewusst sein. “

„Die Loge ist wunderschön in Natur gelegen und hat sogar ein eigenes Wanderpfad. Da wir Mietwagen hatten, war für uns die Lage kein Problem. Wir hatten ein Apartment mit 2 Schlafzimmer gemietet, alles war sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet, obwohl schon bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstück wurde durch einheimischen Paar vorbereitet, super lecker und für fairen Preis. Das Personal auch sehr nett und hilfsbereit, wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.“

„Black rock lodge is the perfect hideaway and a real gem, the location is perfect - right in the jungle, you can hear the howler monkeys roar in the morning and next to the river where you can take an afternoon swim. You can also spot various birds on your own but also on a bird watching tour at sunrise. The activities and tour guides were great, definitely go for ATM and a night hike. Everyone was super lovely and welcoming, accomodation is basic but clean and you have everything that you need. ...

„Excellent stay here. The seclusion in the forest is a major plus. Best mixed drinks I had during my whole stay in Belize, including on Ambergris Caye. Food was excellent and home cooked. When looking back on this trip, I'll remember our great time here. Was very relaxing and felt authentic. Pool was smaller but nice. Staff is small, and very courteous and attentive. „Joe & Miriam (sp?) were very friendly and engaging hosts. We went to the Caracol Mayan site and also did a boat/swimming/waterfall tour. Joe is very knowledgeable about Mayan ruins. He is most enthusiastic about showing you his native country. Miriam is a great cook. We thoroughly enjoyed our jungle experience.“
