Located twenty minutes from Government Camp and just three minutes from Sandy Ridge Trail or Wildwood Recreation Area, Haven House is perfectly situated to enable you to enjoy every activity the region has to offer. Welches Resort is five minutes away, with golf, groceries, restaurants and more. Sitting on 1.5 acres above the Sandy River, Haven House is quiet and private, yet easily accessed. You will find ample parking and the single level layout allows accessibility for all. Pets are welcome with approval.

*NOTE: During winter season it is likely snow chains will be required to reach the property.*

Haven House offers a large gathering space with fireplace, supersized TV with streaming apps and a brand new kitchen with everything you’ll need to keep your group well fed. Three bedrooms on the main floor – the spacious en suite River Room, the Mountain Room and the Forest Room – all provide comfortable, creatively decorated spaces for relaxing and sleeping. There is also an inviting attic bedroom for kiddos or others, complete with Roku television and two twin beds.

The huge two-tiered deck invites you into this natural wonderland. Have your morning coffee or evening drink at the bar, grill dinner on the propane BBQ and eat it while chatting over the sound of the rushing river, marvel at the stars, enjoy soaking in the new hot tub. If it’s chilly, step inside to the sunroom, sit in a rocker or do a puzzle while you absorb the view through the floor to ceiling windows.

PET FRIENDLY: **There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $300 (3 pets). Although we are pet-friendly please note your pet must not be left unattended at the house without you present, even if in a crate/kennel. Failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. **

This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house.

Great time on the Sandy

Four adults, two dogs, and two children stayed at the property. Things we loved: Well appointed (supplies and kitchen items), clean, covered deck/outdoor deck, fireplace/seasoned wood, sound of the sandy river, nicely decorated, great games/books.Could be improved: water pressure (probably on a well), the shower fixture in the primary (clearly expensive) would be great in a larger shower with more water pressure, but was hard in the current configuration.Highly recommended and we will be staying there again. Plus, iTrip had amazing communication and were very accomodating.

Great place and location.You have a major Ant infestation. We found and killed ants in every room of the house. We probably saw and or killed 30-50 ants per day. They appear to be carpenter ants.

Very comfortable

This home was very comfortable and cozy. Very well stocked in the kitchen for cooking, and lots of towels nicely prepared for the hot tub. The fourth bedroom was oddly placed and far from other bedrooms/bathrooms, otherwise the house was very enjoyable overall.

River Vibes Mountainside Retreat

We enjoyed a long weekend visit with our daughter and her doggy. The home had an appealing indoor to outdoor transition; from a fireplace-featured common area, into a closed window porch with rocking chairs, then to an outer covered deck , which lead to the hot tub hut on one side, or otherwise a lower deck extension with railing, from which to sense the sights and sounds of the Salmon River valley. The kitchen was clean and orderly with all the appropriate amenities. From the master bedroom, one could crack a window to listen to peaceful river sounds from the cozy bed. We all had an excellent time here!

Beautiful views, cozy home to stay during a week and great location! Great jacuzzi also! A few things good use some attention: water pressure was very poor, the shower in master bedroom is too small, there are no curtains in living area, some soft lightning would be nice and the lamp in master bedroom goes on and of continuously.

I can not be more satisfied and impressed with this company and our stay at Brightwood. There no nothing that was lacking. From kitchen appliances to entertainment options, we were fully satisfied with our experience. Communication with the staff was quick and easy and timely. Would recommend to anyone. We'll be back!!

This home has reaffirmed my belief that there are actually Owners out there that care about their homes. I've rented so many run down homes that have clearly been neglected. This home presents exactly as described in it's listing. It is super clean, spacious, and furnished as advertised. The deck was amazing, and I brought a couple zero-gravity loungers that made it even better, as the deck has amazing sun for a good part of the day. No more sitting in the shade the whole time you are up under the trees. It was great. The jacuzzi really made the place as well. It was impeccably clean and worked fantastic. Perfect for morning and evening soaks while listening to the river. All bedrooms were super comfortable and roomy. However, the master bath shower stall is extremely small, and the door popped open every time I turned around, as it did not latch closed properly. But all bathrooms were super clean and well stocked. The kitchen was all new with great appliances, and was absolutely spotless as well. Thumbs up to the company that manages this property, (I Trip Northwest). This was, without a doubt, the most professional and attentive management company in any home I have ever stayed at. Super friendly and always available. I could not have asked for a better trip overall.

Great long weekend at a lovely little home. The house had everything we could have hoped for including a huge hot tup with a gorgeous view. Our only wish was for some sort of music-playing device, but thankfully we brought our own little speaker. Overall, highly recommend!

Mt Hood Gem

We rented this house for 5 nights and it did not disappoint, there were 5 adults and our 13 month old granddaughter. The house was clean and well appointed, we cooked in the kitchen and bbq’d on the deck. The inside was just as amazing as the outside, the hot tub is a nice bonus and you can’t beat the sound of the Sandy river below. Our only complaint would be that the trees have grown and blocked a lot of the river view, it’s only a partial view now of the river, but you still have the mountains. The beds were all extremely comfortable and there was also a pack n play provided. The location seems to be right in the middle of everything, an hour or so drive to many attractions. We highly recommend Silver Falls State Park for its waterfall hike and the town of Sandy just 15 minutes away…Joe’s Donuts are a must try! The property managers checked in with us and were always extremely helpful. We loved Haven House!

Great location and stay

Great location, great views and great facilities overlooking the Sandy River in Brightwood. In fact we decided to extend our stay by a day. Only drawback was that the front yard needs some maintenance, it has some pieces of junk lying around and was full of shrubs.

Wonderful, gorgeous getaway

This place was peaceful and spacious. I had a short reading and writing retreat there, and being able to take breaks in the hot tub, looking at the river, was marvelous. All of the rooms are well appointed, and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen was lovely. Definitely need a return trip! Perfect getaway from Portland.

Annual Family Mountain Trip

This place is AMAZING. We will definitely plan on staying here again. Very cozy, yet spacious, warm, inviting house. Remodeled, up to date interior. The back deck over looking the river is mesmerizing. The hot tub is awesome. Snow was falling as we relaxed in the hot tub. Picturesque! Extremely clean house, clean kitchen with all the utensils and things you need and the bedrooms were super clean and cozy. Our kids were super excited to get back to the house to enjoy the upstairs loft bedroom area. 10 stars out of 5!

Wonderful getaway

Already planning to book this property again!

We were very happy with this home for a number of reasons. It was clean, spacious, in a quite neighborhood just off the Highway and only 20 minutes from the slopes! The host responded quickly to any and all questions. The hot tub was easy to use and very relaxing. Our 2 year old loved the loft bedroom above the garage! Looking forward to renting this property again.
