Get lost in the mountains while only being minutes from town! This adorable 2 BR/2 BA cabin has all of the feelings that you are in a treehouse and that you are lost in nature with pure relaxation while having all of the modern conveniences only about 3 miles down the road.

Lovely wooded property with 5 acres, bordering forest service and plenty of room for exploration, and a short 10-minute walk through the forest to the lovely Nottley river. Only 5 minutes from Historic Downtown Murphy and the Harrah's Valley River Casino.

Mountain Cabin
We enjoyed our week stay in the mountains, This cabin was furnished with everything we needed for our stay plus more! The hosts added details that just made it more special. The views were awesome and the trail down to the lake was well marked and enjoyed by us and our 2 dogs daily! It was relaxing to sit out on the deck and listen to nature! The directions were throrough and the place was easy to find! It was a challenge getting our bigger truck into the parking area but was manageable. We found lots of hiking trails in the area to enjoy.

Great cabin in the woods
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cabin in the woods. the walk to the lake was enjoyable and we even saw a pair of bald eagles soaring above the water. Lovely, quiet place. Very dog friendly. The hosts thought of everything! It's a really great place. We would stay here again.

Exceeded all expectations
We loved the cabin. The hosts really go out of their way to make you comfortable. They really hooked it up with extra goodies too. The cabin was clean. We loved the location and loved walking through the woods with our dogs to the lake bank and letting them play there. Also, we loved that it was centrally located between Chattanooga, Asheville, Greenville, and Blue Ridge. Great place!

Paradise in the Mountains
This is our second time staying at this cabin. Needless to say, it is an exceptional cabin. I cannot express enough how clean and comfortable this place is. The hosts Eric and Zoe have thought of everything. Since we were here for Christmas, the place was decorated beautifully for Christmas. This cabin is nestled in the mountains with beautiful views and hiking trails. Sitting out on the porch and listening to nature is wonderful. We enjoyed the fireplace inside the cabin and the little fire pit on the porch while rocking in our chairs watching the sunset. We were here for 10 days and I had to work from home a few days and I didn’t experience any problems with the Internet. The inside of the cabin is tastefully decorated in a way that makes it feel very homey. The bed is comfortable and the linens all smelled very clean and fresh. It was so cozy to snuggle up on the couch with the blankets in front of the fireplace. I cannot recommend this cabin enough. We have already booked yet another trip for 2024 which will make this our third time being here.

Incredible house, great location!
If I could leave a 10 star review here, I would! This property is phenomenal and great for the outdoorsy type if you’re looking to enjoy time on the porch or exploring down to the lake. If you prefer indoors, they have thought of everything there too. The home is warm and cozy with every detail and amenity thought of! Great proximity to town, lots of fun shops and dining at the Murphy Chophouse was wonderful. We also checked out the Murphy River Walk, beautiful in the Fall season and great if your looking for some fresh air and a nice walk with your family or dog(s). Eric and Zoe are wonderful hosts and we hope to stay here again someday.

Just what we needed!
Probably the most well equipped vacation rental we've stayed at.They have everything you might need for a home away from home and the location was great. It was very clean My kids loved swimming in the lake, seeing the deer every day and relaxing in the hammocks on the porch. They asked more than once if we could live there! Perfect way to end the summer before school starts up again.

About as good as it gets, comparable to European mountain resorts. Great location and very private. Only difficulty would be if you drove a very large vehicle, like a 1ton truck, as the turning around space is limited. The lake is accessible via hiking trail, fairly steep.

The nicest cabin we’ve stayed In
The cabin is located in a remote place. The only thing you hear is the wildlife. The owner answered all of our questions promptly and did a few extra things for us prior to our arrival. The cabin is extremely clean, well appointed and stocked. It is a perfect setup for your kids/grandkids as the downstairs is a great place to chill. We will return as I said this cabin is the nicest place that we have rented in our ten years of visits in North Carolina.

The cabin was everything that was described, beautiful, quiet and clean. Peaceful retreat
What a wonderful, cozy cabin to stay in. Very clean and well stocked. The hosts answered any and all questions i had ahead of time. So close to town but felt secluded enough to enjoy the surrounding nature. The kids loved it just as much as the parents! Great place to have family time a retreat from every day life.

Amazing cabin.
From the moment we booked our trip with Eric and Zoe, it was nothing but amazing. They were very responsive at all times. First, let’s start with the location of the cabin: The cabin was nestled in the mountains with neighbors far enough away that you felt secluded, private and quiet. Less than a 10 minute drive and we were in town. It was very easy to get to the cabin. The check in process was very easy as was the check out process. When we arrived at the cabin, a bottle of wine awaited us and holiday music playing on the TV. The cabin was beautifully decorated for Christmas complete with two Christmas trees and stockings. The cabin is immaculately clean and smelled lovely. The cabin is very inviting and extremely cozy. The owners have thought of every little detail and have gone above to make the cabin feel like a very warm home. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable (we didn’t use the other beds downstairs). There were plenty of bathroom linens. Plenty of pillows and warm blankets throughout. We were fortunate to have snow a few days while we were there and therefore we were able to utilize the fireplace inside the cabin. It was so relaxing to sit by the fire. The porch was an extension of the indoors in that there were rocking chairs, pillows, a grill and a fire pit. It was so relaxing and we enjoyed watching the deer. The cabin is very spacious. I can not express enough how clean this cabin was and how clean it smelt. Eric and Zoe are very accommodating towards pets, and in fact, left our dogs, some treats, bowls, and a ball. They have a designated pet relief area, and this was a godsend for our two dogs. Our trip was nothing short of amazing. In fact, we have already booked another trip with them.

Beautiful mountain getaway!
The house was just beautiful. Very clean and everything you needed already there. The owners were very responsive with any questions we had and the check in process was easy. Enjoyed sitting in the porch in the mornings listening to the song birds. Close to town but not too close. We will definitely be back and recommend this to anyone wanting a mountain getaway.
