Property owner was available via messaging and very responsive when we had an issue with one of the toilets (wouldn’t stop running.) Check-in was a breeze. The bathrooms were both really nice - spacious and modern. We liked the open layout of the house. The kids loved exploring the land. Overall we had a positive experience.

There was not anything at the home to sleep on if you have 6 guest. Very comfortable for 4. Very clean. Wish there was a couch.

Comfortable and clean. Quiet location close to so many attractions. Angels Camp, Murphy's, Big Trees, Lake Alpine. Loved watching the Jack Rabbits at night.

A bit of confusion about expectations
We enjoyed our stay. However, the description led us to believe it could comfortably sleep 6 adults, which was not the case. It was only 4. The other 2 would have been on an air mattress either in the main bedroom upstairs or in the living room. There were also only 2 bathrooms, not 3. Is the description about the correct house? Also a place to hang clothes in the downstairs bedroom would have been welcome. Otherwise, the location and grounds were wonderful, and the kitchen well equipped. Just a bit of adjustment in the description could clear away any confusion.

Great Weekend Stay
The house is in a private, beautiful area of Murpys. It’s brand new (love the bathrooms) and has everything you need to have a very comfortable stay. We attended a concert at Ironstone, which is only 3 miles up the road from the house. Owner is easy to work with and check/out was simple. We’ll definitely be back.

Brand new and super clean!! PBob was quick to respond with any question we had. Restaurants (Murphy Historic Hotel restaurant and V Bistro and Bar) we visited on Main Street which is 5 minutes from the property didn’t disappoint. Overall a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Perfect Getaway
This house was perfect. Very clean, felt brand new and well taken care of. Me, my husband and our two kids had a blast. The house is on large private property with great space to run around. There is also a cute swing set my kids enjoyed immensely. We got to ride bikes to a winery and just enjoy the outdoors. We took a 45 min drive to play in the snow and came back and enjoyed the warm afternoon at the house. Highly recommend a visit!

Very private property close to wine tasting! Wild turkeys roaming around and even a deer. We enjoyed spending time here and as an added bonus we were able to set up our telescope and enjoy the night sky as there is very little light pollution here. Beautiful house and comfy beds too :-)

Modern, Clean and Quiet
Highly recommend this property. It's about a 5 min drive to downtown Murphy's and the place is super clean and modern. The owner is really easy to work with and very responsive. Comfortable beds, nice showers and fast internet if you need it. There is a winery within walking distance and then a wine hut on the house property which is kind of fun. Our 4 year old played on the swing set as we sipped our wine. We will definetly stay again if available on our next trip!

Interesting new build. Looks like the homeowners haven't quite finished their project yet. Some construction debris around the property. Certain things in house are not finished either. Nice decor and feels homey. No dishwasher or garbage disposal. Upstairs bed is super comfy but whoever installed the fancy Sleep Number bed put in upside down. Feet are where head should be so you can't use the adjustable settings, unfortunately. 5 minute drive to town. Close to a cute winery with friendly folks.

Only 5 min from town; Nice to do the downtown thing and then when you get back to the rental, it's nice & quiet - away from it all, yet close. Really pretty home; I would say more suited to sleeping 4 than 6, but that's not a complaint, just an observation. Well-stocked, clean, owners friendly & easy to work with. LOVED the upstairs shower!

Clean quiet and peaceful!
This property is just far enough from town to give you the feeling that you've escaped the hustle and bustle but, it's just a few minutes from downtown and it is less than ten minutes to the Ironstone Winery where attended a concert. The place is clean and well stocked but, bring a bag of ice from town. We shared the home with another couple and everyone enjoyed their stay. Simply put, it offered everything we needed! Scott
