Einzigartige geräumige Blockhütte auf drei Ebenen in einer wunderschönen Umgebung am Wisconsin River, 20 Minuten von Spring Green oder 65 Minuten von Madison entfernt. Diese am Fluss gelegene Immobilie bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick von allen drei Ebenen des Hauses, sowohl stromaufwärts als auch stromabwärts, mit Decks auf der Ost-, Süd- und Westseite. Die Wände und Decken sind mit rustikalem Astholz verkleidet. Auf einem knapp 1 Hektar großen Grundstück erwartet Sie dieses hübsche Anwesen mit einem 300 m langen Flussufer, Dutzenden von großen Bäumen, einem klar fließenden Quellbach, Feuerstellen, einem Grill und einer Kanufahrt.

Wonderful chalet !
My wife and I were in the area for Spring Green activities. We really enjoyed our stay. Sandy met us at check in and made sure were aware of where to find light switches, fans, etc. Sandy was quick to communicate at all times. Awesome view of the river and really enjoyed the birds. Would stay again without question.

Lovely place!
We were in the area for a wedding so we didn’t get to do much else besides the activities surrounding that, but this cottage provided the rest and downtime we needed. Slept like a baby! I appreciated the delicious coffee and stocked kitchen. Thank you!

Wonderful stay tight on the river
My wife and I had a great time staying at this beautiful cabin. We were right on the river, and had front row seats to seeing the wildlife (including two eagles!) Very easy to check in and check out, kitchen is well set up as well. Fire pit and grill are also easy to use. All in all, we had a very relaxing and wonderful time. Thanks for letting us enjoy the cabin!

Road Trip to Driftless Area with Great Stay at the Chalet
The Chalet was just beautiful with the view of the river and all the birds on the property. The cabin was cozy and welcoming with lovely antique furniture but all the modern conveniences. The hosts think of everything to make it a great stay.

We had a wonderful time at the riverside chalet! The view from the living room is fantastic, you are literally a stone's throw away from the river when you're on the deck, a nice fire pit area with wood available for purchase, and the chalet itself is cozy and charming! Would stay again!

We loved this spot. The view of the river is amazing and the chalet was very comfortable. The locals in Muscoda were very friendly and we discovered Richland Center is a great place for food. We really enjoyed our short stay. Sandy made everything VERY easy!

Beautiful Stay on the Wisconsin River
We stayed here for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. BEAUTIFUL property and perfect location for a true getaway. Check in process was easy and communication with the hosts was awesome. We felt safe and comfortable and loved the River views. If you are a light sleeper, there is traffic noise but it didn’t really bother us. I would highly recommend having a bonfire - a bundle of wood is just $5 and it’s a nice fire pit with plenty of seating. Overall a great weekend stay!

Weekend Away
My husband and I do a Spring Green weekend every year to see a show at The American players Theatre. This was the first year year we did a VRBO rental. We met friends for a 3 might stay and it could not have been a better set up. Sandy was so kind and helpful! She left a local paper for us alerting us to the art fair. She is so thoughtful and organized. The Chalet was perfect for our little party of four. The view of the river was what caught our attention in the first place and it did not disappoint. We spent our slow mornings with coffee, staring out the picture window across the water and bird watching for hours! It was close proximity to everything we came to do. It was cozy and quiet. The road noise didn’t bother us at all! Didn’t even notice the traffic on the road above. We will aim to visit again!

Great Place! Great Area!
Sandy was an excellent host. Every detail was thought of down to the book giving recommendations and rules to the house. Beautiful river facing windows were the perfect backdrop to sipping coffee, catching up and bird watching. As the listing states, there is some road noise but it didn't bother our group. Cars driving by were few and far between. Wish we would have had more time to spend a few more days.

If you're looking for a peaceful view...
The view of the Wisconsin River can't be matched. Rick and Sandy have everything you need to make your stay absolutely perfect. (The winding staircase to the downstairs bed area would be tricky for people who cannot do stairs. Nothing wrong with them, just good to know.) We enjoyed the lovely morel cheese they left us to enjoy at the kick off to our morel mushroom festival weekend! Really, such a lovely, lovely place. You will be so happy you picked to stay at the chalet!

Beautiful Cabin on Picturesque River
The cabin was exactly as described. It was a very nice, large, traditional cabin. There were several areas to gather and enjoy on comfortable furniture with great views of the river. The large deck overlooked the river and there were plenty of birds to watch as well. We also spent plenty of time around the fire pit near the river. The cabin was well maintained and very clean, and the hosts were easy to deal with and friendly. We will be going back and I recommend the cabin to others as well.

Wonderful weekend escape!
My husband and I stayed at Rick and Sandy's lovely rental during a weekend when we also had tickets to a few shows at the nearby American Players Theatre. It's always been a favorite outing of ours, but the drive from Milwaukee to Spring Green and back again added a layer of stress. We had an absolutely marvelous, peaceful weekend in Rick and Sandy's well-appointed, cozy Chalet. Waking up to the glorious view of the Wisconsin River, cooking meals together in the kitchen, sitting on the deck every morning with our coffee, and just enjoying each other's company was the perfect "rest and recharge" weekend for me and my husband. We intend to make this an annual trip! Amazing hosts and an amazing property.

Relaxing Riverfront Property
A friend and I rented the cabin for some R&R. It was just what we were looking for. The living room, deck and backyard had great river views. There were tons of birds. The yard was big enough to play some games. And the kitchen had everything we needed. The cherry on top of the cake was that the owner took us up-stream with two kayaks (for $60 cash total) and we kayaked back to the house. It was about a 4-5 hour cruise, but we could have gone shorter or longer if we wanted per the owner. There is a little car noise since you're right on a country highway, but at night around the fire the road it was pretty sleepy.

Great Escape
Great place to stay for a few days to explore the area. Short drives to Mineral Point, Dodgeville, New Glarus and Spring Green. Everything was clean, well appointed and thoughtful! The view from almost every single window is wonderful. Saw a ton of birds visiting the deck feeders, and a beaver that worked along the shore at night. There was fresh made rhubarb pie in the refrigerator when we arrived, a lovely touch! Thank you so much for your hospitality and for sharing your slice of Wisconsin with us!
