„You can't beat the environment. It's in the middle of the redwoods. Each cabin-like room has big trees close by. The room is cute, like an antique; if this is your type of thing you probably would like it. However, it's quite old. The bathroom tube makes screeching noise (thankfully just for a minute or two) when first using faucet; the heater has a loud noise (dropping of water?) in the middle of night which woke us up. So we decided to turn the heater off -- it wasn't very cold that night, ...

„Property is beautiful. Waterfront is so nice. Definitely not super fancy but does the job. French press coffee only. Did not like that. One had a crack in it. Our only real complaint was the number of flies we had to kill every afternoon in the kitchen. If the owner fixed the kitchen door this won’t be a problem. Beautiful place. Would stay again. Would have liked a microwave and kcup coffee pot.“

„We really enjoyed our stay at the Carraway Cottage! It had everything you need to stay comfortable and relaxed. We were pleasantly surprised that the water filtration system allows you to drink straight from the tap so we could refill our water bottles too. The bed was very comfortable, it was clean and well-kept. The location is central to the beautiful attractions of the redwoods. We took several hikes and had a fancy dinner at the Bennie Inn. Highly recommend!“

„River View Home is a great base for exploring the Avenue of the Giants. It's got a well-stocked kitchen and a wonderful spacious bedroom on the main floor. It's by far the most private of the three houses on the property, and Marisa was a pleasure to work with. Just don't wait until you get to Miranda to buy your groceries. And don't be put off by the small number of reviews here -- there are hundreds of glowing reviews elsewhere on the interwebs.“

„The place was great in so many ways. The view and the beach and the sunset…. Just gorgeous. I never saw anyone who worked at the hotel. Apparently, ice is available in the office (according to the guide in the room), yet no one episode ever there, and there was nothing looking like a freezer. Again, the place is mostly great, just weird to never interact with a human once the booking was solid. “

„My husband and I stayed at the property Nov 2024. The home and location are even better than could be portrayed in a listing. We have 10-15 year told kids and they would have loved it as well. „We loved this little cabin! It had everything we needed! One thing to be aware of: the local pickleball community has adopted part of the street leading to the cabin as their courts. They’ll move to let you by, but it gets a bit crowded at times and they’re less than thrilled about stopping play to move their nets. Other than that, it was excellent!“

„Alessandra was great, we couldn't figure out how the TV worked so she came over,called the owner, and had us up and running in no time. If we had a question, we would text her, and she would get right back to you with an answer, I really couldn't want a better host. The property was very nice also.
