Owner posted in the description and comments that she “had recently purchased this condo and many updates coming in the next few weeks, including window coverings.” That statement was from February 2023. As of mid -August 2023, nothing has been done except for possibly updating the mattresses. . This condo can sleep a max of 4, not 6,because there are no window coverings in the main room. However, there is plenty of ugly, bare drapery hardware just waiting for something to block the sun from blasting the poor folks in the sofa bed first thing in the morning! Maybe someday…meanwhile, I did manage to get the owner to remove that part of the description so fewer renters think, like us, that she has to be truthful. The bottom line for this unit is that it’s being used as a money grab, and the absolute least, cheapest possible way to keep VRBO off her back is the owner’s MO. Here are just a couple of examples: microwave over the stove broken? No problem! Don’t actually fix, just bring in a nasty used one and put it on the counter! Ceiling fan not working in 2nd bedroom-don’t fix it! MUCH cheaper to go to Walmart and buy the cheapest standing fan you can-still counts as a “repair”, right? I could go on, but the only way to get this unit back in shape is to take it off rental for a week, bring in lots of repair people, painters, and a serious cleaning team. Then, spend a little money outfitting the empty kitchen, and decorate it in something other than “early dorm room”!
