„We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was large enough to easily accommodate our family gathering of 11. There are large living and dining spaces. We enjoyed being next to the lake though this isn’t the best time of year to enjoy the lake itself. We will definitely return if the need arises again.“

„If you have a draw hunt at the Neches Nature Preserve, this is a great place to stay at. Has all the amenities you need and close to all the units run by the forest Service. Host is great at staying on top of communication and helps with whatever you need. “

„The weather didn't co-operate but that was no problem! The screened in porch made an amazing hangout and Leslie was on top of everything! The only issue we had was that the cleaning lady was at the house at check in time and we had to ride around a bit....and that was no fault of the home owner! We are planning a time to go back in the summer and can't wait! The bottom of the lake is sandy and slopped at the dock and will be PERFECT for swimming and water activities!“

„This is a nice place for large groups or families. With 6 bedrooms, there was ample space for everyone in our large group to have their own space. The house is tucked away and was a slight challenge to find, but once we found it, there were no issues. The views of the lake are amazing as well.“

„This was the best cabin we have stayed at, so roomy, 2 bathrooms, washer and dryer are a plus! Pond was great, fire pit although we didnt use it, we saw deer the last morning of our stay. Location was amazing and only 15 min from Palestine!! We will def be back. “

„Jesse was a great host; always responded, check in and check out was simple and less requirements than most hosts! We came down from Oklahoma to spend some time with our TX grands. The house was set up to keep them entertained (as well as grandpa!). The house was clean and simple in design which made cleaning up and keeping up with grandkids easy and hassle free. „My wife and I booked a 2 night stay and really enjoyed our time there. The cabin is quaint and cozy…had everything we needed, plus more! The outside space was so peaceful. Woke up our second morning being greeted by the horses and donkeys. The hosts left us a box of vanilla wafers to feed them which was such a special experience.
