Yes, the train really does run every day right in front of the house (very slowly and only during waking hours!) This multi-level home boasts tons of added amenities and extra details (just wait til you see what all is in the kitchen!) as we live up to our company name, A Stay Above The Rest! Full of antiques, photos, and historical family treasures, this home is captivating, to say the least, but is also super kid-friendly with tons of toys, books, and movies provided to ensure that all kiddos feel welcome and entertained!
You will feel like you are in a Hallmark movie while visiting this beautiful town! Don’t let the vintage feel fool you, this home has luxurious linens, incredible amenities, and is very well maintained!! Gather around and enjoy the beautiful open kitchen and dining area, fully equipped with a Ninja Air Fryer (the best!), Ninja Blender, gourmet food processor, Keurig (with a frother for those lattes/ cappuccinos), a coffee maker, our signature KitchenAid Stand Mixer, plenty of bakeware, dishware, pots and pans, a crockpot, and more! The shotgun-style home offers great spaces to gather around, but you have the option of closing those original double doors to close off each room. Also downstairs is a study equipped with a desk (with a monitor and Bluetooth keyboard and mouse), seating, and a Smart TV! There is also a family room with a gas fireplace, Smart TV, a full dry-bar with tons of different drinking glass options, and a mixer set! There is also a full bathroom on the main level and we provide salon-quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and luxurious white plush towels!
All three bedrooms are very roomy and are located upstairs. The first of two primary bedrooms has a king-sized bed with amazing linens for an amazing night's sleep (plus sound machines/ alarm clocks in every room!), a comfy sitting chair, a romantic non-working fireplace, and a closet. The 2nd primary bedroom also holds a king-sized bed, a computer desk, a vintage non-working fireplace, and a closet. The 3rd bedroom has two twin beds each with a twin-sized trundle and a large rustic dresser plus a very large closet. There is another full bathroom upstairs with a claw foot tub (handheld shower). The onsite laundry area is off the kitchen, easy to use and we even supply a few laundry pods. We also supply plush 5-star quality white towels, black hand towels for make-up removal, extremely comfortable bedding, k-cups, coffee filters, creamer, hot cocoa, spices, a few rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, paper towels, trash bags, and the list goes on (we’ve thought of it all!)
Taking you back outside, you can enjoy the great outdoors in the various shaded seating areas with seating for your whole group. The backyard provides ample space, shade, lighting for nighttime relaxation or fun, a fire pit with seating around, and fun outdoor toys, including ring toss, frisbee, and corn hole. If you prefer a more adventurous vacation - you’re in luck! This home is equipped with four adult bicycles (and bike locks) you may use to explore the town or ride through the nature trails. You have quick access to the Trent and Neuse Rivers, Union Point Park (accessible via walking/ bike trails), and many other attractions around town. You're also less than an hour's drive to Atlantic Beach where you’re able to rent tons of various equipment for water recreation - jet skis, paddleboards, and boats. There are also beautiful creeks, lakes, and sounds that offer boating, fishing, camping, biking, and nature trails. You can even schedule a day or sunset cruise to enjoy the beautiful North Carolina weather and lush scenery.

SHORT TERM RENTAL AGREEMENT
This Short Term Rental Agreement (the “Agreement”) is made by and between A Stay Above the Rest LLC (“ASATR”) and _____________________ (“Guest”)* as of the date last set forth on the signature page of this Agreement. For good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is acknowledged, the parties hereby agree as follows:
Guest. The term “Guest” shall include Guests, Invitees, their successors, heirs, agents and assigns including any minors.
Property. The property (“Property”) is located at:

The property is furnished and includes such items as: fridge/freezer, stove/oven/microwave, cooking utensils and equipment, bed sheets, bath towels, beach towels where necessary, essential cooking spices, baking and cooking supplies. [this is not a comprehensive list.]
Rental Party: The rental party shall consist of Guest and not exceed the maximum number of occupancy allowed.

Maximum Occupancy: Maximum number of guests is listed on each property listing site.
Minors and Legally Incapacitated Guests: Minors are defined as anyone under the age of 18. Anyone under the age of 18 or legally incapacitated must have a guardian sign and take full responsibility for any and all damages and/or penalties. In the sole discretion of ASATR, the guardian also be required to make an additional security deposit.
Term of the Lease. The lease begins at 4:00 p.m. on ___________, 20__ (the “Check-in Date”) and ends at 11:00 a.m. on _________, 20__ (the “Checkout Date”). If the Property appears dirty or damaged upon Check-in, Guest shall inform Manager immediately.
Minimum Stay: Minimum stay is listed on each booking site according to the appropriate season, date, weekend, etc.
Rental Rules: Guest agrees to abide by the Rental Rules attached as Exhibit A at all times while at the Property and shall cause all members of the rental party and anyone else Guest permits on the Property to abide by the following rules at all times while at the Property. Guest is responsible for any damage or costs caused by the negligence or intentional acts of all persons who Guest permits to be on the Property. If Guest does not abide by any of the rental rules, the Guest stay may be terminated with no refund as well as any fines and or fees associated.
Access: Guest shall allow Manager access to the Property for purposes of repair and inspection. Manager shall exercise this right of access in a reasonable manner.
Rental Rate and Fees; Damages
Deposit: No security deposit is required unless otherwise stated by booking agent/site. However, payment for the rental stay must be paid in advance
Fireplace (if applicable): Failure to properly clean ashes from the fireplace, if used, will result in a $50 charge
Fire-pit (if applicable): Failure to properly clean ashes from the fire-pit, if used, will result in a $50 charge
BBQ Grill (if applicable): Failure to properly clean the BBQ grill, if used, will result in a $50 charge
