„Sweet location and they remodeled it nice. However, be warned the bar next door does loud live music and the whole building shakes. Would only reccomend to the young party crowd. Not ideal for families. The manager was nice and did try to offer a refund for a night. Not sure how many people want to hear music vibrating until 2am. Young me would not have cared. „We were a family of 4 adults and 2 toddlers staying over Thanksgiving. We really didn’t need all the space but we certainly enjoyed it. There’s a huge well stocked kitchen, kids’ play areas on both the main floor and basement, and the property is massive and gorgeous. Great stay!“

„If you pictured this property minutes from the historic district of Newtown it’s exactly that. The space brings to life the feeling of the rustic yet comfortable aspect of Connecticut. My adult son and teenage daughter were comfortable but thoroughly enjoyed the living room fireplace. This location is 10 minutes away from restaurants that will please most families with a mix of family to high end with a side of fancy. “

„The title says it all really. The house is as well equipped as your home, superbly comfortable, has glorious views East over the lake, has space for everyone and was just a delight to stay in. Lisa is so repsonsive, thoughtful and kind, which just adds to the warmth of feeling and quality of experience. Thank you very much indeed. “

„This place is amazing!! The house had everything we needed and more. We really enjoyed our stay and also be able to host some of our family in the area was precious. My daughters rented equipment for the babies which worked out well. The house is very spacious and 5 adults and 3 children fit nicely. Very highly recommend. The pier was fun to hang out on but due to weather we were to enjoy the lake as much. Easy to find, and owners were very responsive. “

Waking up to views of the lake every morning, watching flocks of birds travel on the water and being surrounded by nature was all we could ask for. „I cannot say enough good things about Deirdre's beautiful home and how grateful my family was to be able to stay here during our visit to Stamford. The house is perfect for a family with younger kids; they were so excited to have their very own play room! The rooms and bathrooms are well equipped with everything you might need, as was the kitchen. Deirdre in particular was so communicative and helpful with all of our questions. We very much hope to have an excuse to stay here again!“

"Saubere einfache Zimmer, Ruhige Lage, Fairer Preis für die Region, Frühstück auch ok. Wir hatten unseren Rucksack im Zimmer vergessen. Obwohl die Reinigung des Zimmers begonnen hatte und das Reinigungspersonal bemerkt hatte, dass wir den Rucksack vergessen hatten, wurden wir nicht informiert. Uns ist es Gott sei Dank ca. 15 Minuten nach Verlassen des Hotels selbst aufgefallen. Schade, dass hier der Kundenservice sehr enttäuschend war."
