"We stayed at the Margate when we went to a concert at the Bank of NH Pavilion. It was close to the venue and the hotel was clean. We loved the outdoor bar (with food available) on the water. One thing that would have made the experience a little better would have been a crosswalk to get from our area of the property across the main road to the lakeside portion of the property. I’m wondering if they’ve maybe tried to get one and the town hasn’t gone along with it. "

"Beautiful area and hotel very nice... My only suggestion.. when we first got to room..very clean but they used so much cleaning product in bathroom it caused an asthma attack..put vent on and opened slider and it cleared out.. but not healthy for anyone.. But great place!! Room amazing"

"This property was nice. The staff were amazing! I dropped my toothbrush and they had complementary toiletries at the front which was nice. The room was clean and the bathroom was updated well. I have no complaints and I happy I took a chance on this location. I saw another review before booking to request a pool view and that was a great choice! Those rooms are indoors and don’t give you the motel feel like some of the other rooms. There is a lot of food options around and a great area. I would for sure stay again if in the area. "
