„Nice clean place. The heat in our room was hard to control. We set the thermostat to 65 and the room went to 76 at night. Too warm for a comfortable night's sleep. We were there in the Inn by ourselves and were very comfortable in the common areas. The kitchen is well equipped. Could have used one TV in the common area. We would stay there again.“

„It was an only disappointment (for more than 330 Dollars a night)! No reception in two days, even not for one or two hours (get an front door and a room code for access), no room cleaning (!!!), no WiFi (!!!). We made a call to the „Inn emergency number“ and ended up in a voice mail box. “

„This historic property has been lovingly refurbished into a modern day inn. There are clean,shared bathrooms. The outside porch and sitting areas overlook the lake with fabulous views. The owner was friendly and made home made muffins for breakfast. My only complaint is the noise from the motocyclists during the evening.“

„We have a very sweet room that suits us fine. Is strange that we have not seen another person at this property since we have been here. No check in to speak of. Our friend is also staying here, and his room is essentially like a closet… so small. Close to town though, so very convenient“

„The communication with the host was smooth and on time. Check-in and check-out process went just fine although we forgot to empty the dishwasher which was on the list. Sorry! Location is very nice and quiet, there are a lot of trees outside which we like. The actual apartment was cozy and clean but definitely due for renovations or at least some updates. „We stay at the Brook Wood Inn when visiting family in nearby Unity. This was our 2nd stay at the Inn and it is very relaxing place to stay. The common areas and kitchen is great, we always make our own breakfast and have a nice cup of coffee together each morning :)“

„You need carpeting upstairs- the amount of stomping around at 530am over the weekend was frustrating. I also understand not serving food right now- however to expect guests to not eat in the comfort of their own rooms and expecting them to eat out in a common area but not serving food is a little hypocritical to be honest. The facility was nice, i liked being able to come and go as i pleased. “
