„What a fabulous little gem in Highland Lakes, NJ. The owners were fantastic and approachable, the cottage is updated with all the regular amenities that you would want. The first morning we saw two swans a hundred yards off of the dock followed by two red-headed Pileated Woodpeckers that came into the trees in the yard, simply magical in the winter morning. „We were of 4 families, 15 people total. The house was well equipped to accommodate everyone. Safe for toddlers, Diego has gates installed in front of the stairs. Bigger kids had a blast in the game room and with the bunk beds. Short drive from NYC and still feels remote, with great views woods and mountains, plus a few local farms. Highly recommend!“
