„Everything about the house was as listed and in most cases better. We had a large group of mixed ages and everyone had comfortable spaces and it was easy to entertain in the house. The pool was a bit hit as well as the movie theater! Overall I definitely recommend the house. I took off one star for location simply because there isn't much in the area in terms of things to do outside the house, however as the house is so great you don't really need much else!“

„My family enjoyed a long weekend, taking advantage of the pond for swimming and boating, the walk to the nearby waterfall, and the fire pit for some evening smores. Major Tom was helpful and, as others noted, brought us fresh eggs and was available if anything came up. We all had a wonderful time. „This was my first solo venture following my husband's unexpected death and I chose Jim Thorpe because we've visited together in the past and I knew I would feel comfortable both in the town and in the property. I've stayed in many rental properties, but this one remains one of my favorites. The owners are lovely and wonderful to work (and talk!) with. „This place was wonderful! The cabin was beautiful and the yard was amazing with a private fireplace and lit paths through the woods that lead to a huge porch and fire pit. The beds were super comfortable and I can not say enough about the hosts who went way out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The house was a short walk to everything in town and had private parking.“
