Terrible experience
We rented this apartment for the fall semester of 2024, and our experience was incredibly disappointing. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the property was not properly ready. The stairs for the other floors of the building were unfinished, the living room closet door had holes large enough to see through into the lobby stairs, there were small bugs throughout the apartment (even though we never opened the patio door). The kitchen window has no blinds which means the parking lot above us could see through our apartment, and the walls near the patio door showed noticeable leaks. In the kitchen, there are exposed loose wires, and the apartment has no microwave. The laundry unit pictures advertised in the verbo link are not included in the apartment, the machines are not properly installed into the walls meaning there is not even a way to get to work, even though we were promised a laundry units three weeks after we moved in. The shower was another major issue, as the water never got hot, and the apartment had a persistent, strange smell that we believe came from the AC unit.Overall, this apartment was a massive disappointment. To top it off when the landlord would send people to help fix certain issues such as the hot water that was tried to be fixed three times the guys would leave a complete mess and dirt using our shower towels to clean the floors. It was far from what we expected or were promised.
