„Newberry was our “hub” to visit so many sites in eastern UP. From waterfalls to lighthouses to beaches to historic sites. And even a lingering monarch butterfly that hadn’t migrated south yet. This property is everything it claims to be! A full kitchen; lots of beds; comfortable. No doubt a great place for everyone and their “toys”!“

„This was a birthday weekend for my 70th birthday. I invited my two daughters their husbands and children along. Age ranges were 5 to 11+5 adults. The kids love the grass and the fire pit and the toys that were around. We brought a monopoly game and had an epic game that stretched several nights. The kitchen was very usable and easy to find things, well equipped. Beds were quite comfortable. Each of my daughter’s families took a bedroom, and I got the master. The smaller room did not have AC ...

„Host was very helpful! We had trouble with communication through the VRBO app. VRBO was very helpful and hooked us up with our host who responded very quickly. House was in a comfortable neighborhood. The beds were comfortable, kitchen had all the basics, nice fire pit out back in a big yard. Would stay again. “

„We very much enjoyed our stay on Nevins Lake at the Nook. Very clean! everything we could need in the kitchen and the bathroom supplied. We were very comfortable, loved the lake, though too cold to get in in November in Michigan. We hope to come back in warmer times and make use of the kayaks! They thought of everything, and were very good to work with, communicate with. We recommend staying here for that much needed quiet break!“

„Everything was as expected, location is great. A few flies, ants and mice but thats expected going into winter. A little hard to locate at first, damn gps and service. Owner got us where we needed to be. Great to talk too also. Had an awesome time!“

„We enjoyed our stay at Paradise Cottage, a remote cabin in one of our favorite remote places - the Paradise/Whitefish Point area. Excellent space and provisions in the kitchen and living areas, comfortable and warm in the bed and bath areas. And, surrounded by woods on all sides (we enjoyed a fire in the fire pit on our last night). Location also perfect for our agenda - birding at Whitefish Point, at Vermillion Point, on Preacher Road. Perfect spot for our family group of four!“

„We had a set of 4 friends and went sxs riding. This location was great, plenty of room for everyone, 2 bathrooms were a plus, big kitchen with plenty of seating. Plenty of parking for all vehicles/trailers. We were gone from 9am to almost 8pm daily. we didn’t have time to enjoy the outdoor fire pit or other amenities on property. We hope to return for another visot in the near future. This was a typical UP north VRBO with old home charm for GREAT old town. Host was excellent. “

Frühstücksraum ein wenig klein, falls die Lodge ausgebucht ist. Bei uns außerhalb der Saison aber keinerlei Problem.“
