The 4-bedroom, 2-full-bath unit occupies both the 2nd and 3rd floors of the historic Heath-Peckham House, features a private entrance and provides exclusive access to the secluded backyard. The house was lovely and accommodating the four of us very comfortably. The rental is located on 2nd and 3rd floors of a lovely historic home. It was conveniently situated. Walking distance to Thames and the pier, and just 2 blocks from the free trolley service. Would book this again !

Very clean and comfortable property in a great location. We have rented many properties over the years and my wife loves to cook and she said it was the best stocked kitchen that we have stayed at. Beds and furniture all very comfortable. Leah was great. Clear and concise communication. One thing to be aware of is that when you enter the property there is a climb up some steep stairs to access the apartment. This posed no problem for us but it was challenging to climb for my 84 year old uncle who visited. We would definitely stay here again.

It was a clean and modernly decorated place, very cute. We loved that there were AC’s in all bedrooms. The ants were a problem, even before placing food in the kitchen. They were found in the lower level bedrooms as well. There’s this stuff you can spray on the outside perimeter of the building that should help keep critters away. That’s what I do to my own home, I have a company that comes out every spring. We don’t remember the listing mentioning anything about the rental being on an upper floor (stairs involved). One of my friends has a bad hip. I’m sure we may have probably just missed it, I never actually went back to the listing to check it again. Adorable place and most importantly was clean. (besides the ants). :)

This is a great rental for a group with a prime location, which allowed us to walk to many our destinations. The hosts provided great communication leading up to, and throughout the stay. We will definitely rebook whenever we return to Newport.

AMAZING HIGH SCHOOL REUNION WEEKEND
The property was a great place for myself and 4 friends to catch up and celebrate St. Patrick's Day weekend. We were in walking distance to many restaurants and bars and a short Uber ride to Cliff Walk. The two floor condo was exceptionally clean and very comfortable and had all the amenities needed for a fun and relaxing time.

Perfect vacation rental
My family and au pair stayed here for a long weekend to attend a wedding. We needed 4 bedrooms and an office for my husband to work from home during our trip, which we thought would be impossible to find in downtown Newport. We couldn’t believe how lucky we were to find this place. It was totally private yet in the middle of everything all walking distance. The host was so thoughtful; she knew we had a baby so she set up the crib, pack and play, high chair, changing pad, toys, and pulled out the baby gates for us to barricade the stairs - and everything was so perfect for us that we settled in quickly and felt like it was our home too. I loved the electronic keypad that made coming and going simple. If the weather has been sunnier we would have definitely used the enormous patio table in the private patio. Kitchen was efficient/ did the job well (mainly used for breakfasts and storing snacks and leftovers from dining out) and the house was newly upgraded throughout. The washer and dryer were in the upstairs master and worked very well. Perfection!! Thank you!!

Girls Trip
Our girls trip to Newport was made even more enjoyable by our stay at Leah's VRBO. Her place is conveniently located to downtown and there are great restaurants in the area. The place is very well furnished and includes excellent amenities. Three of the bedrooms are very spacious with room to spread out; the fourth, although smaller, is still very comfortable. Leah was very easy to communicate with and was quick to respond to any and all our questions. We would definitely recommend a stay here!

My mom, aunt, cousin and I came to Newport for a girls’ weekend. The apartment was perfect for us! We each had our own, comfortable room, and there was plenty of space to congregate in the kitchen and in the family room. There is an adorable private courtyard outside as well. There was street parking available on the street in front of the house, and you can walk to some great restaurants and coffee shops within a block or two. It was a perfect spot for a weekend getaway!

Perfect Rental
We ( a group of 5 friends) were extremely pleased with this rental,. The apartment was roomy, equipped with everything one would need from kitchen utensils, spices, washer, dryer, TV’s with Netflix, large outdoor area, etc., and had a perfect location. It is within minutes (walking) of many nice bars and restaurants and close to Newport’s waterfront ( 10-15 minute walk). The property was extremely clean and Leah was wonderful with instructions and suggestions. We loved this place!!

**Amazing Place!** Has everything!
Can’t say enough good things about this place! Pictures do not do it justice. It had everything and more. The rooms are spacious, the beds and sheets are so comfortable, super clean and quiet, and it’s in a great location of the city. You know when you stay at a VRBO you come away saying “I wish they would have had this”. I didn’t do that once at Leah’s place. The spice cabinet was STOCKED. The kitchen had coffee filters, a wine opener, disposable cups, plastic bags, and foil. There was an ironing board/iron and even a hair dryer. The downstairs outside patio area was very nice too with a big table. There is a little bar right on the corner and many places to eat within walking distance. A convenience store and liquor store are two minutes from the front door as well. Leah was a great communicator and responded within minutes. She was extremely accommodating, and I felt comfortable asking her anything! The only thing that I didn’t know going into the rental was that it didn’t have central air. All of the bedrooms did have window units. If you keep your bedroom doors closed it does get very cool, but the downstairs was always a little warm. Window units are very normal in the northeast, I just had forgotten a lot of the older house are like that there because I’m from the South. I talked to other renters in the area, and I feel Leah’s rental was by far the best. So glad we found this place!
