*** Willkommen in unserem neuen Moore House Cottage ****. Sehen Sie alle unsere Cottages und Bewertungen am Ende dieser Liste!

Wir freuen uns sehr, Ihnen unsere neue Renovierung des Moore House vorstellen zu können! Dieses familienfreundliche und haustierfreundliche Cottage (nur eine kurze Radtour zum Strand mit bereitgestellten Fahrrädern) verfügt über eine übergroße Wohnküche, einen Baby-Flügel, der das Klavier für Pianisten der Boston Pops war, einen übergroßen Essbereich mit 12 Sitzplätzen. Bibliothek Wohnzimmer, 4 Schlafzimmer und 2 Bäder, übergroße Außenterrasse, Spielzimmer mit Tischtennisplatte, geheimes Kinderzimmer, Feuerstelle, Grillplatz, Fahrräder, Kajaks und eine brandneue Whirlpool!

Die Schlafzimmer bestehen aus: Obergeschoss: Hauptbett mit eigenem Bad und Sitzecke, 1 Queen-Size-Schlafzimmer, 1 Full-Size-Schlafzimmer und 1 Summer Secret-Kinderspielzimmer mit Etagenbetten und 2 zusätzlichen, falls erforderlich.

Diese wunderschöne Quonset-Hütte aus den 1940er Jahren wurde im Krieg zur Lagerung von Munition verwendet. Obwohl alle Munition weggeräumt wurde :) Dieses Haus war in einem schlechteren Zustand als sie alle! Mit nur noch einer Handvoll im Staat und nur ein paar Tausend im ganzen Land fanden wir es notwendig, dieses kleine Juwel zu pflegen und es in seinem früheren Glanz wiederherzustellen. Mit mehr als 250 Quadratmetern wird dieses einzigartige Haus auch in diesem Jahr für Gäste zur Verfügung stehen. Nur eine kurze Radtour zum Strand in den bereitgestellten Fahrrädern und Kajaks dieses 4-Bett, 2 Bäder ist unsere Lieblingsrestaurierung noch! Mein Mann und ich haben schon immer vergessene Häuser auf der ganzen Welt renoviert und restauriert. Kürzlich haben wir uns in unserem wunderschönen kleinen neuen Fund 'Tiverton Rhode Island' niedergelassen! Wir lieben es, alte Häuser nachhaltig zu restaurieren und mit unseren Gästen zu teilen. Jetzt sind unsere Kinder fast erwachsen und haben den ganzen Spaß mitgemacht!

Jamison’s New England vacation
I have stayed at a lot of vacation rentals, and this is the best I’ve ever stayed at by far! It was better than staying at a five star resort, every detail has been thought of. We were looking for a home base to be able to visit several towns along the coast and this was a perfect location. We were a short distance from Newport, New Bedford, Boston, and even spent a day at Martha’s Vineyard. It was great to be able to come home and relax by the fire in the hot tub, and the kids had a blast with the ping pong table and games. If you are thinking of booking, don’t hesitate! This was such a unique and wonderful experience, our family will remember it for years to come! So glad we were lucky enough to spend a few days here!

Second time staying here and just as wonderful as the first time. Hosted Christmas Eve for my immediate family and the kitchen dining area was the perfect gathering space. The home had everything we needed to cook. We also love that it’s dog friendly for our small pup. Loved the Christmas tree and the inviting cheese platter (Delicious cheese) and cider. Exactly What We Hoped For...
When looking for a property for this particular family trip, we wanted a place where we could enjoy a home that encouraged conversation and relaxation. Our adult children met us at this property and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed with all the little touches. The kitchen is a great gathering area with a baby grand piano. We used the fire pit each night. Plenty of quality fire wood. The outdoor hot tub was nice during the cool November evenings. All the beds were comfortable with quality pillows and linens. Of course there were plenty of ping pong challenges in the separate game room. We are already are discussing our return trip. The house was well prepared and equipped for a truly satisfying stay. Our host was very responsive with any question we had. Great place to enjoy quality time with your loved ones!

Quonset Hut
This is a lovely property in a lovely spot. Our hosts went above and beyond with fresh lemonade, wonderful snacks and beautiful hydrangeas in every room. Mark even brought us a 7 pound zucchini the likes of which we had never seen. Two of us enjoyed kayaking, the rest of us enjoyed walking on the beach, Newport, Portsmouth, but most importantly the beauty and history of Tiverton. The piano was a wonderful asset!!

Magical hideaway
Everything about our stay at the Quonset Hut exceeded expectations. Upon arrival, the property felt magical, as the owners had the outdoor tree lights lit and twinkling, and music playing from the Sonos speakers to welcome us, along with fresh cut flowers, and the fridge already stocked with fresh eggs, cream and milk, not to mention pancake mix and s’mores supplies! Our teenagers loved the mini cupcakes that were left out, and the ‘hidden’ bedroom. The design and decor of the Quonset Hut was what had drawn us to the space, and did not disappoint. The kitchen was Incredibly well stocked and it felt like there were surprises in every room. Beds were luxurious, spotless and comfortable. It was warm, and the owners quickly came and installed an air unit in the room for the kids, which was amazing. Both mornings for coffee and evenings for drinks and s’mores, we took advantage of the amazing outdoor space, with hot tub, stone fire pit area and plenty of comfortable seating. You are well set off the road and private, but with easy access (even in these odd times) to Gray’s Ice Cream, Evelyn’s for seafood, several local beaches and more. We also took the easy trip to Newport, where even more great options awaited the entire family. Communication was clear and the home was notably clean and sanitized, so we felt our safety was taken care of as well. We loved our stay at the Quonset Hut, and are looking forward to returning!

This very unique property is a delight to stay in. The Owners have provided every convenience to ensure a great experience. They were extremely responsive if there was a question or problem. The home is in a wonderful location for exploring lots of different activities. Even “stay at home” days were fun because of the hot tub, fire pit and plethora of games provided. Great long weekend getaway
We had a wonderful Girl’s Weekend st the Quonset. It is so perfectly decorated and homey. There were lots of welcoming surprises/ treats upon our arrival. You can tell There’s a lot of care and effort to make it a very special stay for each guest. We loved the hot tub especially on the cool fall nights when we were there. We did yoga one morning at the Quonset. It was so much fun to have the instructor come for a private class. We ventured out one day to a wine tasting at Greenvale Vineyards - beautiful spot. We went to the Boathouse for brunch on another day - great view and food. Our last day, after checkout we went to Newport for shopping and had lunch at a fantastic French brasserie Stoneacre. We would not recommend Black Goose Cafe (something like that) located right in Tiverton. We ate there for a quick bite when we first arrived. It was terrible. Every place else we went was great. We loved our Quonset stay!

Lovely property, albeit not close to the beach, but my whole family came back home with lice.
Here is the owner’s response to me telling her that our family had contracted lice at the home. ______________________________________________________________ Good morning What a nuisance for you!! It’s very prevalent in Australia Due to the hot weather all the time. My son contracted them one time so I am very aware I will forward off an article for you. I just want to put you at ease with Our protocol for our beds before guest come in We strip all linens, we lint roll the bed and pillows and we spray the beds and pillow cases with tea tree oil, and eucalyptus oil and then place freshly clean bedding back on All our couches and soft furniture are lint rolled and sprayed as well Even thou lice can not live off of a human or in carpets and or on furniture ect. Amazing and unusual property!
We rented this property for my son's graduation from Roger Williams University. Parents - RENT THIS PROPERTY FOR GRADUATION! The house is beautiful, clean, spacious, and well maintained. The outdoor space is equally nice, including a fire pit, hot tub, wireless speakers and plenty of seating. The owners really thought of everything and went above and beyond expectations to make our stay comfortable - with many little extras. Please note that there are a few single steps and door saddles throughout the house that might be slightly challenging for an elderly person. ( Our 82 and 84 year old guests did just fine, though!) I cannot express how lucky we feel to have found this quirky, beautiful home.

I cannot begin to describe what a wonderful weekend and chefs dinner we had at the Quonset hut. The Moore Family has crafted an absolutely beautiful environment, both in the striking design of the space and in the way in which every little thing has been thought of to surprise and delight their guests. Staying there feels like staying in the home of a close friend who runs the most well-appointed guest house--personal and caring and design-focused. Our family had a special dinner while we were there and Blair and Sharon partnered with a great team to make that happen. The table set was gorgeous beyond and the quality of the experience was one for the books. I cannot thank the Moore family enough for their thoughtfulness and for making our experience staying at their property so memorable. I would recommend this experience to anyone wanting a beautiful space in a beautiful spot on the RI coast. It was really beyond expectations in every way. Thank you!!!!!

If you've fallen in love with the pictures of the Quonset Hut, you will be blown away by the property's charm in person. We spent the first 30 minutes exploring the property, admiring the beautiful design/little welcoming touches left by Sharon and the MooreHouse team and pinching ourselves that a house like this existed! The bonus of hosting our wedding at the Quonset was having the talented Blair Moore design and create our wedding ceremony/dinner for us. After corresponding with Blair, she drafted an incredibly stylish presentation of the design options for our event; including a wonderful florist and personal chef. After choosing what we liked - that was it! We did not have to worry about anything else. On the morning of the wedding I kept sneaking peeks at the ceremony site and was amazed at what was happening. Blair and her team had transformed the already lovely Quonset into a stunning setup. I felt like I had stepped into a magazine shoot. Blair's vision for the event was so much more than I had dreamed and we are so thankful for her and the MooreHouse team. We appreciate all of the work and detail that was put into our event (the tin cans tied to the back of the vintage Austin Healy, the personalized menus at each seat, the little "I do" flags on the drink stirrers...). So many wonderful memories made at the Quonset! We can't recommend having an event at the Quonset Hut enough - our goal is to stay at all of the other MooreHouse properties!

Exceptional spot - unique and fun!!
Our family get together was fabulous. We totally enjoyed our stay. The beds and linens are super comfy!! Highly recommend this wonderful spot. Can’t wait to try one of the other properties!!

Amazing property!
This home is absolutely gorgeous - it is by far the most unique, beautiful home that I have ever rented through VBRO or Airbnb. In addition to the layout and decor being amazing, there were so many nice touches! We couldn't believe it when we walked in - it was so welcoming with beautiful music playing and cookies, cupcakes, hot chocolate bar, cheese and bread there for us to enjoy! And very important - the bed was so comfortable with amazing sheets, duvet and loads of comfortable pillows. We enjoyed our stay here so much!
