Sixteen people is a lot of bodies to pack into one cabin, especially when they are all adults. This cabin is well thought out, however, and well equipped to handle the high occupancy without feeling overcrowded (provided you take turns in the kitchen). Between the hot tub, the large dinning room table, seating in the great room, the basement game room with the super comfy sectional, there was plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the cabin in our own respective ways.
There is also an impressive amount of bedrooms. A lot of other cabins will cram a bunch of twin or queens size beds into a small room, but this cabin had a surprising amount of privacy. Each bedroom area has access to it's own bathroom, too. Highlights include the hot tub, the two fireplaces that ignited with the flip of a switch, the large windows and porch that overlooked Sunday River and the surrounding mountains.
Every amenity we could possibly need was taken care of. Everything was well stocked, too.
I have two small gripes that I feel are worth noting:
1. The wifi was not strong enough to handle sixteen people at once. Even the smart TV's had trouble connecting to the cabin's network and we had to reset it several times.
2. The water pressure. When more than one person was taking a shower, the pressure would drastically drop.
If these two areas could be upgraded to accommodate the high occupancy of the cabin, it would greatly improve the cabin. These two small gripes, however, did not interfere with our overall experience. We had a fantastic time and cannot recommend this cabin enough! Thanks for the great stay!
