„We enjoyed our stay at this lovely family bach in Ngakuta bay. Location was great, right on the water, Ngakuta loop trail, and the link trail. We enjoyed the toys and game room. This is a classic kiwi bach and you need to bring your own sheets and towels. We did not hear back when we inquired about the possibility of renting linens. The property is what we expected from a kiwi back and we really enjoyed our stay. “

„This bach is bliss and perfect for off grid relaxation in a breathtaking environment. We loved fishing off the jetty, enjoying the bay and kayaking. The sealife is amazing and the kids loved the resident weka. The woodfire hot tub, outdoor gas shower and the gas fridge mean it is also a very comfortable stay. We will definitely be back!“

„Beautiful view of Pelorus Sound. Short drive from Havelock. Local beach not awesome for swimming but a short drive to good swimming in Anakiwa. Good hiking and MTB tracks close by. House was very well appointed. Spotty cell service and no wifi.“

„Absolutely loved staying here and would definitely stay again. Whole house has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is nice and private. Great easy location with lots of walking/ bike tracks around.Favourite part was relaxing on the balcony on the couch with all the lovely sounds of the birds in the morning.“

„Would book again in a heartbeat! This holiday home boosts fantastic views in a very remote area. Be aware that there is really not much „civilisation“ in this area, no wifi, quite a few steps to climb, plus you have to bring your own linen and need to clean up behingd you. But you get a wonderful peaceful (family) vacation. Views and house are even better than advertised!“

„Türen der Toiletten ohne Haken um etwas aufzuhängen. Kalte Dusche, die auch sehr beengt war. Kissenbezug frisch? In einem 3 er Zimmer gab es 2 Hoch Betten und ein normales Bett. Das Hochbett war schwierig zu erklimmen und es gab keine Absicherung. Selbst für das wenige Geld sehr unangenehm. Tagsüber steht die Eingangstür auf aber es ist Birnen an der Rezeption. Unsicher!“
