„We attended an event in Bar Harbor and were looking for some place we could gather with friends in between when we were needed. This was perfect! We had all our own home cooked meals with plenty of things to keep all 10 of us entertained. Communication was above par.“

„Kurz und knapp: Wir waren begeistert. Ein geräumiges und sehr sauberes Feriendomizil in guter Lage zum Nationalpark und Bar Harbor (ca. 12 min.) Wenn man unbedingt Kritikpunkte suchen möchte, so sei die Nähe zur stark befahrenen Straße erwähnt, die man durch die einfachen Fenster schon deutlich hört. Ferner gibt es kein Zentrallicht in den Zimmern, seltsamerweise aber Schalter (ohne Funktion) - das hat zu anfänglichen Irritationen geführt, bald aber zu allgemeiner Belustigung 😀 Insgesamt war ...

„This is a lovely property. It was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace and sitting out on the deck looking at the pond. We choose this place because it was very close to the entrance to Acadia National Park. Beautiful views and quiet!“

„Rented house to be local to all basketball tournaments happening in the area this weekend. Very happy with the house would stay again.“

„Arrived to a clean, well decorated cottage. Smaller than expected for four adults. The view made up for any shortcomings. A small screened in porch, a deck, large flat granite rocks, the outside seating options are numerous. Best part of our day, coffee on the deck watching lobster boats, hearing loons, marveling at the sunrise. Be aware the use of the fireplace is prohibited. Would have been great on a rainy day. „ We absolutely loved our time at Escape lake house in Maine! The setting was gorgeous and cannot be beat. The view is never the same and we loved watching the changing light on the water. The house is as described in the listing and the primary bedroom and bathroom are great. Note that one of the “bathrooms” is actually in a side entry room with the washer/dryer and extra stove, and is not super private. Also, 2 of the showers are very small stand-up showers. But, that said, for just 2 of us, ...

„We stayed 4 nights at this awesome home with convenient access to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Plenty of room and very quiet location. The kitchen was very well appointed with modern cookware and plenty of dishes, etc. The bedrooms were quiet and very comfortable. Bonus; we has an awesome viewing of the Northern Lights! The property manager was very responsive to questions as well. I would definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area!“

"Brandnew Hotel in Bar Harbor with all most modern amenities and thoroughly styled. We were staying for 3 nights with 2 standard king rooms booked on ground floor and got an upgrade to 3rd floor for a huge corner room for the parents and an adjacent big room for our kids. The breakfasts were awesome, not the usual hustle and bustle of a buffet, but a choice of either hearty or sweet breakfasts were served on porcelain at our table with cutlery and cloth serviettes, along with a choice of orange juice and coffees or teas and fruits. Also the afternoon tea and cookie hour was a very nice asset. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay between the year end's holidays."

Location and service are ok, price too high

"Good central location, service is alright, rooms are clean and everything works. Furniture and interior are rather dated and only medium quality. Air condition works, but is very loud. Daily rate is significantly too high for the service and room you get. "
