„Ballydevitt Retreat is a comfortable home away from home in a great location. It is removed from the business of the town but an easy walk to the town Diamond. The home is spacious and comfortable. Paula, the host, communicates very quickly and is excellent at making sure guests have all their questions answered. I highly recommend this as a place to stay while exploring County Donegal.“

„Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet, alles erforderliche war vorhanden. Unglaublich schöne Umgebung, die Lage etwas erhöht und mit Blick aufs Meer. Von den Verwaltern gab es Tipps zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Leider war der Aufenthalt mit einer Woche viel zu kurz! Jederzeit gerne wieder.“

„We spent a long weekend here with our adult children and it was the most beautiful holiday home we have ever stayed in. It has been superbly renovated, is absolutely immaculate and has every appliance you need.The location is perfect for a great shop and a few pubs within walking distance and just a short drive to Ballyliffin and other local beauty spots. „Bill and I spent another incredible two weeks at Hilltown. The family connection is so important to us! We enjoyed walking the strands with old and new friends, meeting up for lunch dates with Bill’s cousin, visiting other cousins and friends! Our friends, who traveled with us,thouroghly enjoyed the comforts afforded at Hilltown, the beauty of the country-side and exploring what Donegal has to offer. „Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Unterkunft und eine sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Vielen Dank! Die Zimmer sind großzügig und es gibt ein großes Außengelände. Das Haus liegt etwas abseits mit Blick auf den Atlantik (in der Ferne) und hinterm Haus die Berge - sehr schön. Die Straße ist trotz der Abgelegenheit zeitweilig sehr gut befahren und zum Pub sind wir aufgrund der Distanz und der schmalen Straße nicht zu Fuß gegangen.“
