„The cottage was nice, rustic and nautically decorated. The location was good for the areas we wanted to visit. Safety Concerns: The porch steps to the side door were very steep - should be 4 or 5 not 3. The mold in the upstairs shower was a issue, and the lack of useful railing on the steps to the upstairs. The decorative railing was difficult to use for balance.“

„We stayed 4 nights. Missed housekeeping service first morning. There was no shower curtain and needed to ask for one, attended to right away. Second morning, left a tip for them. They took the tip, replaced towels. The beds were just thrown together, no vacuuming, garbage was left on floor, no replacement cups or coffee, ice bucket not emptied!! Continental breakfast was very sparse and coffee was not available when they opened the last day.. The proximity to Colonial Williamsburg was wonderful ...

„I was absolutely pleasantly surprised how beautiful this home was. A lot of antique pieces was a thrill for me to see, and the dining room table...whew! It was such a lovely piece! We had plenty of room so we didn't feel cramped. The bed upstairs was definitely more comfortable than my own at home. We definitely didn't want to leave, and hooe to be back!“

„This home is very humble and cozy, which is to say, if you're into amenities and shiny things, it's not for you. We had (4) adults and (6) kids all in the rental, which had adequate spacing and sleeping arrangements, linens and towels all provided. It's a true weathered lake cabin, with canoe, fishing poles, and the likes. Wonderful family and friend memories made.“
