„The kids joined us for a weekend on our sailboat, this was the perfect spot to get together after a long day on the water. My one son set a new record on the PAC Man and the other caught a beautiful bass off the dock. The river view from the sunroom is spectacular! Everyone always migrated there. Great time had by all. We will be back in the fall.“

„Cute, clean and very walkable to downtown Kennett. Charming backyard with shaded sitting area. Property has only one bathroom and it’s upstairs. Wr had a 94 yr old with us and for safety felt we should walk our parent up and down the wooden steps.“

„Super clean and cute cottage on the water! LOVED the sun porch set up; flowy curtains with black out curtain option, table with bench seat, the queen daybed was a favorite during our stay, super comfy and unique. „Three generations from PA, CO and VT all converged on the "Top of the Chesapeake" and had a lovely time. This is a stellar place for bird watching since it's between a creek and the upper Bay ("river".) Kayaks were a hit with 12 year olds and their parents. The owner's very reasonable rules and guidelines were so easy and he was available for help. Highly recommend this place!“

„As soon as we arrived I wanted to message Sue and thank her for sharing such a special place with us. The views are breathtaking! We stayed for a weekend to attend a wedding nearby and the house had everything we needed. The “neighborhood” it’s in is great and all of the neighbors were wonderful.
